Live TR 10 nights cabana bay

It has been hot today. Did the water rides at islands of adventure, we all got soaked on Popeye. Dd had written some letters to her friends on Hogwarts notepaper. We got some Hogwarts stamps and she got the envelopes postmarked and posted them at the counter next to owl post. We rode the train to universal studios- never done it that way before. Saw the parade at universal which is fun and colourful. Just had an early dinner at bubba gump- used dh's $25 birthday reward on his landrys card. Having a rest before swimming.

Spent the evening at the pool they were showing the black and white Frankenstein movie. Did some laundry and packed.

We checked out this morning after 10 nights at cabana bay and are on the road to disneys vero beach resort for 2 nights before our cruise on the Disney Dream.

I'll stop our trip report on here now as we are no longer at universal. If anyone is interested I'm doing same live report on uk trip planning forum and will keep going on there.

Had a great stay again at cabana bay. It is a lovely family resort, glad we tried the bowling and s'mores this time. My dd loves the pools, movies by the pool and refill mugs.
Parks were busier than last October but still very manageable. Did universal parks 6 days, we don't do full on days though prefer a break after a few hours. Buses were fantastic so easy to come and go. Doing the two Harry Potter areas on two evenings worked very well a lot less crowded. Enjoyed the blue man group and mini golf at city walk.

Googling Peach Valley Café... Why have I never heard of this place?

It's a place used mainly by locals, although last few years it's had more tourists I think........oh you should try it, it's fantastic food......everything is so fresh, staff are nice and place is immaculate.........

Don't think you're going to be disappointed.......

Glad you had such a good time......like you we don't do full days either....much more relaxed........

Valley fiesta at peach valley which is one of their recommended breakfasts. Worth joining email club too we saved $10 with a coupon
