Live Reports May 8-28 (yes, 21 days) Solo & a 1st timer!

I just caught up on the posts! Bob you are living a dream my friend. I would love to do 21 days!!!

Can wait for the next update!

Took a much needed nap 5 to 10. Now I'm awake Ans heading for DHS for emh to see how many times I can ride Star Tours!

Bye

are all the window covering off of cinderella's castle? or just in the back? We're eating there in 8 days, so I'm curious :)

Looking forward to seeing what you thought about WCC, we're eating there next week too!

All of coverings are gone. I could see in the windows.

That was fun. I rode ST 8 more times. Hardly any crowd, was a walk on, or in my case a limp on :)

Now I finally saw Hoth. The only place I didn't see before tonight. Still a great attraction! 2 thumbs up from me.

Tomorrows only plan is lunch at Kona cafe.

Goodnight

Got a great night sleep, I feel all rested and ready to go.

On bus to MK then boat to Kona for lunch. Then back across the lake for the rest of the day.
Later

I am enjoying this SO much! I can just close my eyes and picture what you did each day :cloud9: One day soon I hope to take a solo trip (I was solo back in Dec 2008 for 4 days before my DD & DGS arrived and it was pure bliss...)

Lunch at Kona was just OK. Maybe it's because I still have a lingering cold and it's throwing my taste buds off, but I was expecting more teriaki flavor in the steak. Still good. Maybe I was expecting more like the meats from Ohana next door, I I LOVED those.

Strolled up Main Street decided to get a cookie for dessert. Yummy

Just going to stroll around and take my time. Only goal for the day is to see the fireworks again from a different spot.

The Blackbeard addition to pirates is fine. Should be a lot less scary for little ones than octopus face.

Talk to ya later.

Just enjoyed a shrimp dinner at CHH. Sitting on the second story bridge between FL & LS. Last seat FL side looking out the window. Bet most of you can picture the exact spot in your mind right now.

Been doing the westside all afternoon, time for the eastside.

Absolutely!! We ate there a few weeks ago...the table by the window, closest to the back wall. Great view from there! :cool1: I'm so enjoying your trip reports! Thanks for letting us follow along with you and dream! :)

I decided to watch the fireworks from the TL bridge right directly under Tinkerbell's wire. Should be a good spot.

Tomorrow's plan is DHS in the am then??? undecided

Can't wait to see MM&Y in about 10mins, so good.

Goodnight

hahaha.. yep.. cause I was there about that time last week... 'cept I chose to look out over LS instead. It was quiet when I was there, almost completely empty upstairs.. nice.

Oh, and btw, while up there, I saw a dude in a kilt, wearing a shirt with Charlie Sheen's face that said "WINNING!" (of course,)

Woke up early and decided I might as well do emh at DHS.

Star Tours opened a little late. They seemed really disorganized this am.

Rode my favorite attraction 3 more times.

Early lunch a staring rolls and now to wander.

Well all done with DHS said my goodbye. Rode _ST about 20 times total.

Heading for MK just for the heck of it.

Did ST repeat itself at all? There are supposed to be 50 different "rides", which is why my husband and I are now going to DHS solo when we arrive...grandma gets to take our daughter to the pool without us- and I don't mind! :yay:

Yes it does repeat. It takes a while to see all of the scenes. After I saw Hoth it was the last part I needed to see. There is 4 parts of a trip... begining, first planet, hologram & second planet. Over 50 different combinations when you mix it all up. It took me about 12 flights to see all, but it will be different for everyone. Loads of fun and excellent graphics.

I heard DL opted for more features to the que, I'll have to see.
