We actually arrived around 5:30 am Saturday. We ran into lots of thunderstorms driving down in SC and GA. It put us way behind. We had planned to stop for a hotel but we lost so much time so we decided to drive to Orlando and then get a room. I called Bonnet Creek to see if there was any way we could pay for an extra night and check in early. The gentleman told me to give him 45min - 1hour and we could check in with no extra charge. We grabbed a few things at Wal-mart and checked in @ 6:30am. We were happy! We all needed sleep. The only one who slept was my ds.

Around 3pm we headed to MGM. To me it was a little crowded. We saw Lights, Motor, Action, 25 minute wait for Backlot Tour, 20 minute wait for The Great Movie Ride. We relaxed and looked in a few shops and left around 8pm. It was also hot and humid.

For those of you want to know, WE LOVE Bonnet Creek. Our room is awesome. We are staying in a 2bedroom condo and it has lots of room. I will try to get some pictures posted once I figure it out.

Now it is off to Epcot if I could get all of these sleepy heads up. :wizard:

what/where is bonnet creek? I believe I have seen the gate entrance a few times ....but I am curious to know more about this place? thanks!

Do they have transportation and how do the prices compare with Disney?

Oh I loved my trip last July to Bonnet Creek! We stayed in the 4 bedroom on the top floor of Building 2 facing the pool with the slide. We could see the fireworks from Epcot from the balcony. I would so stay there again. The presidential suite where we stayed was just huge. Something like 2000 sq feet. You could fit 3 adults in the tubs in the master.

So glad you are enjoying your stay, have you checked out the lazy river yet?

I would love to hear more about Bonnet Creek. We own TS in Orlando but will only be there for a weekend next year. I am anxious to hear about the quality of the resort and amenities. We are debating about staying on property but would need 2 rooms for all of us. A 2 bedroom would work out well for us at Bonnet Creek for 2 nights.

Is it true they do not have any transportation to the parks?

No it's not. They offer transportation to the Ticket & Transportation center, same as the hotels do, where you can get Disney transportation anywhere on site. The bus that takes you to the TTC is not a Disney bus but t gets you to the same place. They don't currently run as frequently as some of the Disney buses do but it isn't a big problem. We don't like either system (we always get a car) but it works and is certainly cheap (as in free!).
