Here right now. Wow. Talk about ride closures!! RSR, TSMM, and Screamin were all closed at DCA opening. Tower of terror broke down while we were in line. Didn't get on RSR because by the time we were in line, it broke down again and we were done. Fast passes were gone by then. Oh well. Next year I guess. Crowds are medium here in DCA. Headed over to DL in a bit. Hopefully things will turn out better there. We are just loving being here though. It's sunny and a light wind. Perfect.

That sounds frustrating, pumpkin! but good that you are making the most of it. And the rain has stopped! Yay! It sounded like yesterday was pretty bad.

Enjoy the rest of your vacation. Hopefully things will be better on the DL side and also the rides in DCA will be back up soon!

So overall it was pretty crowded for a Thursday in my opinion. Average wait times were 40 minutes pretty much all over in both parks. I think the rain caused everyone to wait and come today instead! Even the CMs were talking about how unusual it was. I think the rough start to our day wasted a lot of time, but it's just another reason to come back next year. All the Candlelight processional stuff was up and ready. Saw the fireworks from Main Street and there was room on the street still at 7:45. We skipped the parade in favor of some rides, which was a good choice. Parade came from Main Street which I thought was odd.
For food we had pretzel bites at the cozy cone ( I'd save my money next time for a Mickey pretzel for the price), popcorn, churro, ice cream from Main Street, Mickey pretzels and we ate at the Asian place in DCA. That was okay. Too much sauce and a little spicy for me. But my fam liked it.

We did RD at DCA this morning and it was crazy- everything was down! We ended up riding Tower, doing Turtle Talk, grabbing FPs for RSR and then park hopping since the RD advantage was gone by that point.

I'd say the parks were moderately busy. I still can't get over how bottle-necked it gets over in New Orleans Square/ Adventureland.
