Live From Vero Beach

We're here at Vero having a great time! The weather is wonderful; the resort - not too crowded. Activities are plentiful, CM's are exceptional, but........ The love bugs arrived today in large quantities!!!!! I noticed a few on Monday/Tuesday, but today, they are all over! It's not as bad yet as the pictures and video posted from WDW at the "peak" of love bug season; however, there are probably 100 on our balcony! Oh, well, everything can't be perfect (but it sure is close).

We have never been there in LOVE BUG season, but I can tell you that here in Virginia we have just had an invasion of Lady Bugs! Timing is everything I guess. We love Vero Beach... Keep having a wonderful time.

Now it's Friday and the love bugs are just about gone. It's strange - they were in force really bad for one day and then haven't been too bad since then! The weather continues to be wonderful and the resort is getting really crowded today. The news said that yesterday tied the record high of 91. There are alot of New Yorkers here right now and I'm sure they are loving the sun instead of the cold and snow they left!! Last night when we returned from dinner the parking garage was nearly full. Today, the front desk has been busy all morning and the pool is much more crowded than it has been. I guess many people do VB for a long weekend. I'm thinking that's not a bad idea - maybe we'll do that sometime soon!

Now I am live from vero beach! I am sitting in the lobby right now. Enjoying the time away from the children. I am sure DH will come looking for me soon......
