I don't see anyone waving and they all look quite miserable. :rolleyes1

Yes, the do all look quite bored. :rotfl:

Kevin went to the shops to check out the new D&B pattern for DCL - I'm checking email while I still have cellular - the wifi stinks. It's free so it's almost impossible to get on and stay on.

Is Frank de Heer doing his seminar for your cruise? We went to it on the 3/16 sailing and it was awesome, very informative if you're interested in DCL's new ships.

Keep us posted & have fun! :cool1::thumbsup2:banana:

Sounds like you are having a great time.

Really appreciating the updates :thumbsup2

Sorry that it's taking me so long to post. The Internet has been horrible this cruise. I had to wait for when people are at dinner or in a show to get a connection.

We had dinner last night at Animators Pallet. All I can say is the new show at dinner is AWESOME!!! We will talk about it on this weeks show but it blew us all away. Dont miss dinner at AP on your cruise.

Today was Palo brunch and Palo dinner. Both were great as usual.

Earlier I did a spa treatment and Kevin did the rain forest room.

All in all a pretty incredible day.

We found out tonight the Dream will be passing us by at 10:30pm - this is always a big deal and there will be fireworks. Heading up on a higher deck to enjoy!!

Can someone count the number of electrical outlets that are available to use in a stateroom and let me know. I am very curious since I have specific needs that require electricity.

Thanks.

Carol
It's a great day to be alive!!!

Carol, bring extension cords/outlet strips. I haven't been on the Fantasy but have been on the Dream twice. There are a few more than on the "classic" ships although they aren't always convenient. As I recall there are two in the desk area and another one on one side of the bed. Don't recall any others. That was in a veranda cabin.

There are two outlets in the desk area and one in the bathroom ceiling. I haven't found any others

Last night the Dream and the Fantasy met at sea and we had dueling fireworks displays.

It was incredible to see the other ship so close. You never really get to see "your ship" at sea at night, so this was like looking in the mirror.

Just awesome!

Today is Castaway Cay day and the Dream just crossed 200 yards in front of the ship's bow while we are docked.

We are having dueling ship's horns at the moment.

Another awesome experience!

Kevin, Take a look at the bedside stand that has the clock on it. The clock is plugged into an outlet under the shelf it sits on - isn't it?

Posted this on the ABD board already but we found out this morning that new for 2013 will be a SouthEast Asia trip. Loas - Cambodia - Vietnam

No details and no news as to when 2013 will be available to book but if you want to get on a wait list for info on these and other trips make sure you send Kevin an email - Kevin@DreamsUnlimitedTravel.com

Barbara Corcoran spoke this morning and was very interesting. She even told some cute stories about being on Shark Tank

At the end of the conference two if the original Mouseketeers - Cubby and Sherry - talked about working with Walt and their careers. Cubby then played the drums.

We had some lunch and are now relaxing by the Cove Cafe and adult pool.

It's almost time to pack to go home :(

How cool they had Barbara Corcoran....I love her on Shark Tank, so glad she's back, I missed her when the QVC lady was on. What was the main topic of her talk/seminar?

What do you think the biggest difference between the Fantasy and the Dream is?

She was basically promoting her new book. She gave some of her personal background - then her 9 strategies for success. The best part was the end when she took questions and was asked about Shark Tank.

Biggest and best difference for me - show in Animators Pallet!!!

There is an expanded adult pool area with hot tub and very cool pool.

The kids got a new and awesome splash zone!!

That would be so cool. Always wanted to scuba dive in SE Asia. Imagine there will be some shore excursions to do that. May have to give you a call to set up a trip when it is announced.

Glad you guys are having a good time but have to admit I am jealous.

Just speculating here, but honestly, I would doubt ABD would set up a scuba diving activity as part of the trip. That's really a bit too specialized for a family trip (you need to be trained & certified) and would exclude an awful lot of people. But you might be able to arrange it on your own during your free time.

Guess we'll find out when they announce the itinerary!

(Re-reading your post, it sounds like you may be thinking this is an add-on to a DCL cruise. From what I've read on ABD's facebook page, it's just the ABD land tours. Of course, there's always a chance DCL might be going there, too. That's certainly not out of the question!)
