We arrived on the 15th to a wonderful Jr. Suite here at the Swan. Everyone is so accomendating, friendly and helpful. We have only encounter magic here at the Swan. I knew I loved the Dolphin but the SWAN is incredible! The friendship boats to MGM and Epcot are timely and very convienent. We took a bus to AK and did not wait longer than 5 min. When we left AK a bus was there waiting. I would be happy to anwer any questions if I can. I'm going out to MK but will be back later. I just wanted to let you all know that there is plenty of magic here at the Swan! :sunny:

Glad you are having a great time. We will be there again in 61 days. I just wish they had more govt. rates for the days of our stay. This is costing us a bundle, but the Swan is worth every penny. Love the turn down service, how about you?

:flower: Hi Muffy!
I would love to have you describe your Jr. Suite at the Swan. Our last stay was at the Dolphin in a great balcony room (Illuminations view), but since my kiddos are 14 & 15 we ended up w/ a rollaway and I would really like something a touch bigger next visit.
Have a ball :cool1:

aaaarrrrrrrgggggghhhhhh i'm so jealous... go ride tower of terror for me pppllleeeaasseee!!!!!!!

Dismom, The jr. suite at the Swan is similar to a studio room. It is one large room (500 sq feet) with1 king bed and a fold out couch. We have a roll away for our DD. There is plenty of room for the fold out couch AND a roll away. We are just using the couch for seating. The suite also has a large round dining room table with 4 chairs. There is one bathroom and one TV. Plenty of draws and a big closet. This suite has a balcony but not all of them have a balcony. You will love the Swan! Hope this helps!

Hi, Muffy! :wave2: Thank you for taking time to post LIVE from the Swan! Glad to read everything is as usual, and you are enjoying a wonderful visit. :cloud9: Say hello to the WORLD for me, and have a GREAT TIME! :cool1: :sunny: :flower: :goodvibes :cheer2:

Muffy, glad your having a good time. I agree that the Swan is a pretty neat place.

Today we leave the SWAN and move to PBH. I really don't want to leave. It has been a wonderful stay here. We will be back as soon as possible to this incredible resort. The location cannot be beat. I can't say enough about the staff. We've had an incredible time.

We had a real panoramic view with 3 huge windows and a balcony. We faced the Dolphin and the boat launch but could also see the Boardwalk.

We are giving the Swan a second try in May. It is good to hear about the bus service to AK only taking 5 minutes for a bus to pick you all up. Have they changed the routes?? Or maybe you guys just got REALLY lucky!!

Our last stay at the Swan was in late August and that is something I don't remember being so great - the bus service. We waited - no kidding - 45 minutes with a growing CROWD of people for the bus to AK. It then took another 45 minutes to arrive at AK - after stopping at many other resorts to pick up guests(Dolphin and BW and also YC/BC). After the BWI, I didn't think any more people could fit on the bus - but they sure crammed it full. We didn't use the bus service to the MK because we moved to the Poly after 4 nights at the Swan, so I have no idea what to expect regarding the length/stops of the bus trip from Swan to MK.

We have great rates in May, through SPG, and probably won't do AK this trip. So, we are willing to give the Swan another try. Any info on improved bus service or modified bus stop schedule???

We used the bus service to MK and AK many times from the Swan during our 12 nights stay. We didn't encounter any of the things you discribed. The bus does stop at the Dolphin, BW and YC/BC and can get crowded. I have found that to be the case with disney owned resorts too. We never waited long for a bus to any park though while at the Swan. I'm glad you are giving the Swan another chance. It is a great resort with alot to offer in a great location. Mkae sure you join SPG and have your membership # on your reservation. Plenty of PD at the Swan for members! ;)

Muffy - thanks for the reply! I am glad you are having a great trip.

I did join SPG and in 2 1/2 weeks will be staying at the Sheraton Royal Hawaiian hotel in Waikiki!!! Our first Hawaii trip. I am such a Disney nut, though, I am having trouble getting excited for it. It is so much more fun for me to plan and think of Disney World. Who knows, though.....my husband is kind of hoping I don't fall in love with Hawaii or look out!!!! It may be my new favorite. (ouch)

You will love Hawaii. We recently came back from 2 weeks in Kauai Hawaii with our whole family. We loved the Emerald Isle! Happy planning!
