Last night (Mon 12/1) - Dinner at the Yachtsman Steakhouse - DH said steak was bland but shrimp cocktail was good. He had NY strip. I had bourbon steak and it was good but not as good as I remembered from last year. Bill was very high - no dessert - I had a glass of wine and DH had diet coke - I also had a caesar dinner salad with my steak. We split a side of button mushrooms. The bill was over a $100. We may cross this off of our list for next year. B rating
Today - Tue 12/2 - No breakfast since DH had to be on the golf course at 7:45. I ride along to laugh and watch the wildlife. Lunch at Concourse Steakhouse at CR. DH said burger was GREAT and so were the steak fries that came with it. I had caesar salad and side of onion rings. Salad was huge and I couldn't eat all of the onion rings. Waiter there also works at Jiko and highly recommended it. I think I talked my DH into going there. Waiter (Oscar who I also highly recommend if you are at Jiko in the eve) said they only use Australian beef (???) and that it is the best steak on property. Will let you know if we go. Lunch was a B+ rating.
