Hi guys! Sorry I could not write yesterday... we got back from the MK so late.
Yesterday, we woke up at 8 a.m. Every time we go to WDW, Jess and I love to sit outside the balcony in our PJ's and robes and watch the sun rise. The sun sparkles against the east side of the castle. The CR and the GF look so peaceful also. We also catch glimpses of the first monorails of the day riding along the tracks.
For all of you who suggested to eat at Captain Cook's, I'm glad you told us! I ate scrambled eggs and French toast sticks with syrup. It was good. The little food court seemed so cozy for a Polynesian resort.
We hopped on the monorail to the MK after breakfast. Actually, before we went on the monorail, we bought sunglasses and fanny packs in the shops below. When we got to the MK, we took our time walking down Main Street. It was around 9:40 a.m. on a Saturday, and the park was not that crowded yet. We took many pics of the castle along the way.
We turned to Tomorrowland. Our first ride was the Tomorrowland Transit Authority. Our food still had to settle before we went on any other crazy ride. Next was Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin. Jess won with over 2000 points! My little sister beats me! I'm not going to say our other scores because they were pitiful!
Next was Space Mountain. I still get so nervous and scared on that ride! I sat in the first car in the second row. I think Jess, who sat in front of me, went deaf! It's funny because she just smiles through the whole ride, not screaming at all! And I scream even before the vehicles move! What a difference!
Next was the Indy Speedway. We sat in our own cars this time (they let us do that!). And... I beat Jess at this! That's good because in 18 months I get my permit! Ha! Jess beats me at star spinning shooting points thingie, and I beat her at driving.
Okay, enough about Jess. Next was Toontown. We just stopped by to say to Mickey and Minnie, along with Goofy. We rode the Barnstormer twice.
In Fantasyland, we rode the Mad Tea Party - something we have not ridden in years! We didn't spin the teacups though because we didn't want to look like the queasy mouse in the teapot in the center of the ride! However, someone else on the ride did not take our advice and....
We always ride Dumbo. It's like a tradition. We tried Mickey's PhilarMagic. I must say, next to Muppet Vision 3D, this show is hilarious! You've got to love Donald! After that was lunch at Pinnochio Village Haus. I ate a simple, juicy hamburger.
Now for the Haunted Mansion. Just hearing the Cast Members say, "You may now enter your 'doom buggies'" sounds scary enough. Mom used to tell me that Mickey would not want to hurt us, so do not be afraid. I still use that advice.
The line for Country Bear Jamboree was sooo long, probably because of the rising heat outside and the cool air conditioners inside. We took a ride on the Liberty Belle Riverboat. Then we explored Tom Sawyer Island.
Now for BTMR!!!!!! I scream a lot on this ride because there are sooooo many curvy turns! Someone told me in another thread to go on BTMR for them. Well, I did and it was a blast!
Now for my favorite WDW ride - SPLASH MOUNTAIN! I always sit in the front. I never really pay attention to the song and the show either. I'm always determining when the drop will come and how loud will I scream! I love looking at the castle before dropping. I also like people's faces below. I also like the big splash. How about this - I love everything about Splash Mountain.
Next was the Pirates of the Caribbean. Jess and I know this song so well that we sang to it (and probably annoyed some other guests!): Yo ho, Yo ho, A pirate's life for me! One problem about this ride - I could not find Johnny Depp or Orlando Bloom anywhere on this ride. Oh well.
Next was the Jungle Cruise. I was 18 months old the first time I went on it and I braved it. I love animals, and when I was younger, I thought they were real and tried putting my hand out to pet them!
We we too tired to climb the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse and were not in the mood to ride an Aladdin ride. We did stop at an Arabic shop and browsed the cool outfits.
We had just missed a show because people who were standing in front of the castle were now leaving. It was like a mob just to get past!
Dinner was at Tony's Town Square Restaurant. The waiter spoke to us in Italian. Darn! If I was in high school right now, I'd be able to respond to him back because I'm taking an Italian language course next year. Also, I'm 50% Italian! I should know my background language. Guess not. Anyway, I ate a classic Caesar salad and of course - spaghetti and meatballs! Jess and I were silly and mocked Lady and the Tramp. Mom and Dad got a kick out of that!
We browsed the Main Street shops and bought a few things and had them charged and sent to our rooms so that we did not have to carry the bags. Then we went to Plaza Ice Cream Pavilion. I bought an ice cream cone with cookies and cream ice cream and chocolate syrup. We ate our ice cream.
We walked back to Tomorrowland and rode Astro Orbiter during the parade. I took pictures of what I saw - Cinderella's Castle, I think the CR, the people below, Tomorrowland, and the parade.
Before WISHES, we took many pics of the color changing castle. We watched WISHES and dashed out quickly to beat the crowds.
We got back by 11 p.m. We went to bed by 11:30 p.m.

We woke up at 9 a.m. We ordered room service. I ate the three fluffy banana pancakes. MMMmmmm MMMmmmm. Delicious! We got dressed and walked to the TTC. We boarded a monorail to Epcot.
We arrived at Epcot at 11 a.m. Today was a World Showcase Day. We walked right past Future World and onto the World Showcase. First was Canada. We browsed the shops and found lots of interesting things. At la Boutique Des Provinces, we liked some wildlife themed clothes, toys, and ceramics.
Next was England. We went through the small passageway to the English Rose Garden. How quaint! We went shopping at The Queen's Table, where Mom found nice china and I liked the figurines. We also went to the tea Caddy because Mom loves tea and we like chocolates.
In the International Gateway, we made sure that our items that we bought were being sent to our room.
In France, we admired the little courtyard and the Mini (I call it Mini) Eiffel Tower. We went shopping at Plume Et Palette, where we enjoyed sampling some delightful French fragrances.
Lunch was at Restaurant Marrakesh in Morocco. I enjoyed some Lamb Couscous. We also got to see a Moroccan dancer. Okay, I cannot hide it. She asked me and Jess to come up and dance with her. It was embarrassing because I cannot shake my booty like her, nor do I ever shake mine in public!
After lunch, we went shopping and sightseeing in Morocco. At Tangier Traders, we tried on Moroccan clothing for fun.
Next was Japan. We went shopping at Mitsukoshi Department store and each bought kimonos (the whole time I admired kimonos, I thought of 'My Big Fat Greek Wedding' with Gus trying to prove that the word 'kimono' was Greek!).
We never like stopping at the American Adventure. We know all about America already! We skipped right past America.
In Italy, we took many pictures and were even allowed on the Isola. I liked sampling some Italian chocolates. I still wish I was in high school to speak Italian to the Cast Members.
In Germany, we love browsing through the German village (I'm also German). We stopped at Der Teddybar, where I bought a German doll who I named Kohana, which means "little flower" in Japanese (also named after an orca in SeaWorld San Diego), and a teddy bear, who I named Mickey!
We had dinner in Japan. We ate at Nine Dragons. I enjoyed the Nine Dragons fried rice, which has like everything! From rice, to shrimp, to ham, and to eggs!
In China, we went shopping at the outdoor carts, where we played with Chinese umbrellas. There was also an African cart and we played with the puppets. Okay, we bought two puppets.
In Norway (I'm also Norweigan), we explored the sights and went shopping. We went shopping at The Puffin's Roost, where Mom (who collects trolls), bought more trolls, and at Laila, we bought fragrances and body creams.
In Mexico (Jess showed off her ability to speak Spanish to the Cast Members), we bought Mexican clothing. I also bought a ring with my name encarved in it.
We snatched a spot for Illuminations. The last time we were here (a month ago), we missed Illuminations because of a storm. Also, I had strep. WE FINALLY SAW IT AND LOVED IT!!!!!!! Illuminations is so cool! I love the beginning part called "Chaos!"
We ran out of Epcot to get on a monorail back to the Poly. We were back by 10:30 p.m. We took showers and got ready for bed. I'm typing now, for about 25 minutes. It is time for bed now. Goodnight.

Sounds like a magical day complete with a nice supply of souvies!

Sounds like you are having a great time. Hope you got lots of room in your suitcase to bring all those goodies home with you.

::yes::

I am really enjoying your trip reports. What excellent observation and writing skills you have. I feel like a ghost walking beside you during your trip. I can see all of the world through your eyes. I suspect you will be successful in whatever you do, but I certainly hope that writing is something that you continue to pursue. You definately have a talent.

Can't wait for the rest of the story.

:goodvibes
