I was really enjoying this thread up until I heard what happened on CC. How sad. Prayers for the family and friends.

Hope you all are having a great time! How was the progression of cabins? Sounds like a very neat idea to see more cabins that I may never be in

Great big ball pillows. Giant screen tv's thin. Progressive disser is today. also the entrepreneur meet. Got to get prepared.

to all involved. Thanks for reporting in Debbie. Sounds like lots of great freinds on a great trip. Hold your face to the sun and let it all soak in.Debbie H said:Hi everyone,
This is so much fun!!!!! After all the anticipation! I must say, what a group. We have surprises at our door daily from our fellow DIS'ers. They are all a special group and I certainly hope to be able to meet them all to give them a big THANK YOU for making this cruise special. They worked very hard. I wish I would have had the time to keep up with everything that was going on.
A few celebs on here. Joey from NSYNC is on with his family and a Senior VP from DCL is on. We will be on the look out for others.
A little overcast today but the sun will shine!!!!!

The Magic HAS SAILED THESE WATERS BEFORE!!!! Where were you? On the 10 day Christmas Cruise we came the exact same route after leaving Key West. We will be sailing in the same waters until approximately 7 p.m. tonight. When we get to the east point of Cuba we will then head into a new direction towards Curacao and at that point we will be in NEW WATERS that the Magic has never sailed before! Had a great view of Cuba back in December. Can't wait to see it later today!

While we all want more information and are saddened by the loss, keep in mind that the other DISers still on this cruise are on a vacation they have been planning and dreaming of for more than a year. Let's let them report on the excitement they are having, and save our condolences for a more appropriate thread at a more appropriate time.
So how is the first day at sea???!!!Hope you all are having a great time! How was the progression of cabins? Sounds like a very neat idea to see more cabins that I may never be in

Guys, I'm going to say two things here, and we'll leave it at that.
1. We did loose a disboarder yesterday at Serenity Bay. While I (and several other disboarders) assisted in the resuscitation, we (all who were present) agreed that this is not our news to share. It is a tragedy, and while I and others present can speculate on the cause, none of us feel that this should be announced on this board by any of us. The person also has several other friends and family members who were travelling with them (some still on board) and if *THEY* wish to share what happened, it is their right to do so. Until then, I think we should leave this as "We lost a disboarder, it was a tragedy, it has touched the disboard community on this ship *VERY* deeply, and keep the family and friends in your prayers".
2. As I stated above, there are many other disboarders besides myself who were VERY attached to this tragedy in various ways. Do not PM people on this board, or e-mail people on this board looking for information. You will not get it. This information will either come from the family to this community (and the family is part of the community) or it will not come out at all.

Do you mean you stand in line for a voucher that gives you the ability to buy a pin and THEN you stand in line to buy a pin? Ugh. Also regarding the shirts, were they really inexpensive? Is that why so many people are buying them up so quickly?
Maybe DCL will realize the demand on the ship & have enough for the August return trip...we can hope right? It sounds like you are going to have a very busy day. Standing in line for so long wouldn't be my DH's idea of a vacation either. At least they are limiting that though or there wouldn't be a chance of many people getting them. Good luck in the pin quest. Can't wait to hear your report on the Live morning show & the Murder mystery fun. Sounds like a blast!!!Tigfanjeff said:Posted to the other thread (Cruisetoberfest IV) but I'm going to post it here as well for emphasis.
