Live From The Magic 9/18!!!!

Sounds like you are having a great time. Hope the rest of your cruise goes great!

JanDave was correct - Eli's tour was AWESOME!!! Those of you on the next eastern that hve booked Eli's will be pleased with your excursion choice.

Another tidbit that I forgot yesterday - I have been hearing Disney music in the halls. Must be I have not sailed when that was not what was being played.

Thanks for the updates!

Can't wait to go on the next scheduled Eastern and visit Antigua.

Would appreciate any information on the beaches and the taxi fares to get there and any local vendor shopping.

Have a safe trip!

Thanks for the great review on Antigua and Eli's Tour! We have him booked for our 12/18/04 cruise and hoped someone from the Magic would give us a review before we go!

If you get a chance, please fill us in on any more ofyour highlights of this tour.

Have fun on the Magic!

Did you dock or tender in Antigua?

Sounds like a great trip. I can't wait, it snowed at Tahoe the last couple of nights so i'm officially ready.

DMFender,
You can call Disney 1 week prior to your cruise and they'll tell you what the in room movies are. I'm sure they change at least some what from cruise to cruise.

My family is on this Saturday's sailing of the Magic (9/25) and the movies are: Around the World in 80 Days, Brother Bear, Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, Finding Nemo, Hidalgo, Home on the Range, The Alamo, Lady Killers, The Village, Miracle, Pirates of the Caribbean, Princess Diaries 2, and Raising Helen.

Hope this helps

Hi !

Hope you're having a fantastic cruise. We'll be on board in one month!!

Can you tell me if the Charles Marshall Band is still performing on board??

Thanks!!!

'Beano'

Dear Jan,

Thx so much for sharing your trip with us....I am back to school and working hard!

Beano....I've heard that Charles Marshall is off the ship right now..

Does anyone know who will be the band next summer in California???

Haven't seen this posted here, did everyone on this week's cruise get the special lithograph (or a different one) for Antiqua? Very interested since I will be on the next cruise to Antiqua.

What a great post!!:bounce: as it sure sounds like you are having a great time on the cruise
:sunny: I sure hope the rest of your cruise goes as you planned. By the way what incentive were they offering for more DVC points and what was the minimum number of points purchased?

I just love reading the live reports.

Thanks for posting.

Live from St. Thomas -- it's the Disney Magic!!!

Good Morning!

Another beautfiul day. What great weather we've had.

Today is our 20th anniversary. Looking forward to Palo tonight.

We went through customs this morning. It took us 35 minutes from the time we got in line until we walked out of the Walt Disney Theater.

We met Robyn, CM_Mom's daughter. What a sweeite. I took her picture for mom.

Shooter -- we did not take a taxi, however, I saw a sign just as you get off the ship listing destination points and taxi charges.

BeanoC - Charles Marshall band is not on the ship -- Seabreeze is playing tonight in Rockin Bar D. Also, David DiMuzio, a "world champion juggler" is in Rockin Bar D also.

Kmovies - We did receive a lithograph last night. It was in our stateroom when we returned from dinner.

WDW47 (Hi Mike and Eileen!) - Pirates of the Caribbean is the theme night which replaced tropical night. All the servers were in pirate mode. Guests receive a take with you menu and a scarf.

srp and mousecrazy -- There are 4 incentives to choose from when adding DVC points. Minimum purchase is 100 points for Saratoga Springs. Two incentives that I remember are: purchase a minimum of 100 points and receive either $1,000 towards DVC purchase (which reduces cost to $85 per point) OR up to $1,500 voucher (example: 100 points = $1,000 voucher) for another cruise. Another incentive is to purchase 130 points and receive $1,300 towards DVC purchase (which reduces cost to $85 per point) and receive either 2 annual adult WDW passes OR a 1 bedroom room for a week's stay at an international hotel (not valid for any resorts in the contiguous U.S.). Another bonus is that payments are deferred to June 2005.

Happy Anniversary!!
Was anyon dressed in tropical gear on Pirate night?
Thanks for the reports. Enjoy the rest of the cruise:lovestruc

We were on last weeks cruise and received our lithograph the night we left San Juan. We were told that these prints were only given out when the ship went to San Juan. Since you received yours at Antigua, perhaps they are given out when they go to "unscheduled" ports???

I am wondering if we got the same lithograph as the San Juan cruisers did - it has both San Juan and Antigua on it. Hope I can get it packed and home without dents or wrinkles.

We had great weather today in St. Thomas - took a cab to town and shopped since we had enough sun yesterday. The ship seems to be swaying a little tonight but nothing bad. Hoping the storms stay away so we can get to Castaway on Friday and back to port so all of you waiting to board on Saturday can.

Off to dinner at Animator's - I am starved!

Gail

Wow, what a bunch! My DH and I will celebrate 25 years next summer and we are celebrating by sailing from the West Coast!
