LIVE from the Boardwalk - my BWVcam is back!

We'll be checking out mid morning tomorrow, so you all have one more night and one more sunrise to enjoy. I'm so glad everyone has had such a great time with this! This weekend I'll start a thread on how-to where we can also keep track of who is going and who wants to try a cam of their own!

Forgot to watch at the right time last night, tried at 9 central, but were able to catch it tonight.

As everyone has said, thanks for setting this up, it was great to see, and hear, what was going on live.

*sigh* I am going to miss this!! Illuminations was great last night, we synched up our MP3 and it was so close to being there!!

Safe travels home and thank you, again, for sharing your vacation with us! DBF is already looking into webcams!

Watched Illuminations last night. Really cool. 192 Viewers at one stage.

I don't know if there is much to see from Wilderness Lodge which is where we are staying in a few weeks but in August we have a Savana View room in Animal Kingdom so I might set up a cam so people can watch the animals.

DH, DD and I gathered around our television last night to watch IllumiNations (he hooked the PC up to the TV).

DH kept saying "Isn't technology wonderful."

It was so cool to watch IllumiNations ... even DD, who is almost 16, was impressed.

How long will it be before folks are carrying around the camera live on here? I know there are internet camera cell phones that take video. Just sit at Fantasmic and broadcast on the Dis.

DBF was actually talking about that last night.. he was all "We could just get one of those 7" laptops and keep it in the bag with an aircard and rig a wireless webcam to the shoulder strap of the bag..."

I gave him "the look"

I was on when it went dead. The connection just went black and said off-air.

Ha, thanks. I suppose the quality will keep improving as well into HD, or take a snap shot and zoom on something etc. Should be fun as more folks will do this I presume.

I was wondering the same thing! I was hoping they would, but I had to leave to take DD to the Dr, and on the way there said "Oh no! The Boardwalkcam is going to be gone when we get home!"

Say it with me now... GEEKS ARE COOL! Way back in the day my momma chastised me for spending too much time in my room reading and playing with computers. "You'll never do anything at home. You think you will ever make friends, go shopping, or get a job with your computer?!"

I'm only sorry I was so busy traveling this weekend and working that I didn't get to catch Illuminations live. Loved watching those Friendship boats stream in and out.

Now who's gonna set up the next live stream? It's remarkably easy to do and since we get free internet now...
