Thx for the updates!!! Nice to hear about the Bingo fun! Happy Easter and Happy Cruising to all!

cindyk, where on deck 9 was mass on easter morning? enjoy the cruise, i love the live reports.

My family and I are on the boat as well!! We're having a great time and we couldn't ask for better weather. We got to check in at 11:15 and did have to wait about 15-20 minutes, but it wasn't too bad. Plenty of seating available in Parrot Cay for lunch. The peel and eat shrimp were great. We're on the PLA rotation. Parrot Cay dinner was good, tonight's at Lumiere's was better! Try the cauliflower soup, it is awesome. My mom and I spent some time at the spa today. We got the unlimited rainforest pass ($50 for a 7 day) and spent a while in there (all alone!). Then we both did the spa taster - back of body massage and facial. Very nice! Key West was fun - we just walked around and shopped. Going to see Pirates of the Caribbean tomorrow at 11 AM. For those of you wondering about movies onboard, i believe it's POTC, Alamo, Home on the Range, Brother Bear, Finding Nemo, Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, Calendar Girls, Miracle and Hidalgo. We also took advantage of the morning room service. We get coffee and croissants sent up for the time we want to wake up. They call you to let you know it's on the way (there's your wake up call!) Then if we're still hungry, we'll come down to Lumiere's for brunch. A word of advice to anyone travelling when the ship is near capacity: Book your excursions early! This trip was planned and booked for us only a month ago. We tried to make reservations yesterday and we didn't get any that we wanted! We're hoping to try the Stem to Stern Wine Tasting tomorrow. We'll let you know! Hello to all my fellow cruisers!!

:hyper: :hyper: :hyper:
I love these live reports!
Thank you all.
We'll be on the Western in August (such a long time to go...), but this makes it feel more real.
Thanks

I am so glad to hear that you all are enjoying your cruise - what a great live report ---thanks for writing and sharing some info on my hometown of Key West - Sure do miss "home" on the holidays tho most of my family are all gone now - anyhow have a safe time on all your ventures - Andy what beautiful pictures taken - I saw the ships leave from my front patio accross the ocean, but really got a lump in my throat when I saw the Magic in Key West - thanks for sharing.
Love always
Shirley

Sign up for Wine tasting right now at Guest Services! We had to go to our second choice last summer.

It was on the Goofy Pool, with the lid closed of course. It was simple service, but very nice.

My son and I changed our plans for Key West, we decided to do the Shipwreck Museum and the Aquarium instead. The shipwreck museum was fun. They do a little presentation and show a movie, before you tour the artifacts.

The aquarium isn't anything to special if you are used to large aquariums.

After we came back my son wanted to go swimming in the Goofy pool. He swam in the murky water for about 15 minutes, then went off to play video games and I got to swim in the Adult Pool. Yeah!!

On an interesting note, I am very happy with the cruise staff this morning. The left a message at my stateroom that we had purchased $110 worth of cards for the arcade. They just wanted to let us know. :earseek:
My son (11) was supposed to be purchasing one $20 card a day. Hmmm!! Guess who has had his charging priviliages revoked.

Oh well.. Off to bingo!! Maybe I can win today. :D

TTFN!!

Good morning everyone.

It is Tuesday and we are in Grand Cayman. The weather is beautiful. Small swells. Tendering is taking place as I write.

Just a word of caution for future cruises. Make sure you really check your excursion tickets when you board and I would even go further and go to guest services and get a print out of your account to make sure the chargers are correct.

Today we were scheduled to go on the Disney Rum Point and Sting ray excursion, G14, I was reading my excursion book and noticed that there are two excursion for Rum Point, one with the sting rays and one without. Well guess what, we had tickets for the without. There are no numbers or prices on the Disney confirmation which I had or the tickets. I went to the excursion desk to have them changed but it was full. I do not beaches that much so I decided to cancel. My daughter and grandson who likes to play in the sand still wanted to go. They did give me a hard time about a refund but I had my paper work and the disney excursion form with the right number on it. They did eventually give me the refund. SO BE WARNED AND CHECK FIRST.

Anyway, day at sea (Monday) was cloudy and rough, seas at 10 ft. Some people were getting a little green. Golden Mickeys was awesome, great show. Food has been excellent and Palo's brunch was a real treat. I recomend it to everyone.

The Dis meet was great, LieLani thank you. She is a real Hostest, The Walt Suite is really incretable, piano and all. There were about 6 families there and yes Hans Solo was there. We really had a great time.

Well thats it for now, off to relax in the sun and swim in the empty adult pool for awhile.

Will send more later.
