We made it!!!!!!!!!!!!! After last years cancellatios I thought we would never head East. Well, after two MARVELOUS days at POR we woke this morning to 47 degree temps. The bus ride to port was 1/4 full (everyone must have been going on the Wonder tomorrow). I was quite cool and windy on deck 9 for the buffet so we headed midship to get out of the wind. Rae, the shrimp are still marvelous!!!!! All CM's are as perfect as I remember and the ship.......WOW......I couldn't wait to get to Diversions. Very nice (if you like the quiet bar atmosphere). College football was on there were parents playing board games with their chldren and the "landlord" (bar mgr. I forgot his name) made it a point to strike up conversation with ALL patrons. Well DW and DD's are at a show and I am in route back to my verandah before our late seating.........The weather is getting warmer as we sail and the seas seem to be cetting calmer.............I'll post more tomorrow!!!

Thanks for reporting live!!! Looking forward to hearing more about your cruise!!!

Congratulations.

Are you on the eastern route?

Enjoy your trip (and post when you can).

Jim

We returned last week after our November 15th Magic cruise... finally, after last year's cancellation. Hope you have a great time, and too bad I didn't meet you last year. Who are your servers? Ours were Depesh and Rodger. They were fantastic!

I saw you sail past the twopalms camera. The Magic sure looked pretty tonight. Did you happen to see the colour of the sky, beautiful..

Have fun!

Enjoy your long awaited cruise! Can't wait to read your trip report!

Lampskies, we missed you at the meet... We were up there, but it was COLD! I met up with a few DISer's though, great to finally meet people. Doing wine tasting tomorrow afternoon, should be fun. The ship is gorgeous, all decked out for the holidays. Bobby (5) is our checking out the club right now, he couldn't wait to get there. I have a feeling I am not going to see a lot of him this week!

Dinner tonight was at Parrot Cay (my favorite!) the beef rib eye was yummy, as was the ice cream sundae.....YUM! I am going to eat my way through next week!!

Toodles for now!

Parrot Cay is my favorite restaurant - who are you servers?

When you go to Shutters, tell Alina that I said hello - she's hard to miss and a sweetie!

Well, you are on your way to the best time of your lives, so I will close now with lots of hugs!!

Hope that you have a fantastic cruise!!! We were also on the 11/15 with Linda. What dining rotation do you have? Hopefully the weather will warm up for you soon.

Hi! We just left the Magic today. Wasn't the weather cooooold?

If possible please tell German, Cornwall and John; Trevor, Rose Ann and John said HELLO! We had a BLAST! Boy o boy! Take care and hope you enjoy the Magic!

Keoni

ps, we spent a small fortune on BINGO, we will play only the last game next year. (Andy was the BINGO caller)

One more thing, PLEASE.. If you see a CM named Trevor please tell him Trevor said HI! The CM Trev has big ears.

THANKS!

Yes, the sailaway party was FREEZING!! Parrot Cay was awsome as usual. DD's and DW had the ribeye and I had the combo (tenderloin, lamb chop and SHRIMP).
I opened my verandah at 6:15 this morning and it was soaked!!! But it was 72 degrees. It's cloudy and the seas are 7-13 feet. We signed up for 149.00 photo package, got bfftsiu amd tenna4 their spa package and of course the 89.95 internet package. (I blamed that charge on Jessica DD13). But, my first purchase was.....yes....ESPN mug. They are still selling them.

FavoriteAuntie....we were there.......we were starboard side deck 10 in the corner by the smokestack (by the poratbe bar looking strait at the stage) Everybody must have been reading about our "meet", I've never seen it that crowded on deck 10 at a sailaway..........'till later....chow!!

Lampskies, I am sure I will run into you at some point! We just signed up for the gingerbread house decorating for tomorrow. I love that stuff, can't wait. Bobby is back in the kids club, not sure he will want to spend any time with little ol me! As long as he has fun....it is his vacation too! We pulled off the mystery ride, and boy was it worth it! As we drove over the last bridge where you get a great view of the ship my parents told him he was going on that ship for 7 days....his face went from confusion to sheer excitement! He had guessed the mystery ride was to mini-golf....he was pleasantly surprised!

It is overcast, but warm. Not really pool weather - yet. Maybe tomorrow.

Rae, I love Parrot Cay too. We have Maclean for our head server ~ isn't he your favorite? He seems very nice. Tonight is Palo, and Thursday we have Palo brunch. Wine tasting this afternoon.

TTFN,
Joanne

Oh Joanne - you have Maclean!!!!! Lucky! Tell him that I am waiting for him to deliver orango-mango soup to my door!! AND of course, that all of us miss him and hope to see him in April! He did a wonderful job of surprising our tablemates, a military man just back from the Middle East - the Lt was speechless with the cake they brought out that said "Welcome Home Lt...."
He is truly the best and I would also like to give Gaspare a few good "attaboys" - he is also very responsible, attentive and lots of fun. But then again, he's Italian - so he has to be!!!!!!!!

Lucky you!!!!! I don't usually envy people their well-deserved cruises but I've been talking about that chilled soup so much and Maclean just brings it all back -

Rae

LAMPSKIES ~

So very glad the *pixie dust* is with you and yours this time around!!!! I share your excitement and wish you a magical cruise making some special memories you so well deserve!!!! I'm so jealous!! It is cold and windy in MD.... LOL I could really appreciate the warmth of the newly decorated CC, some of Cookies BQ ribs, a Konk Kooler, maple glazed salmon w/red skinned mashed potatoes and warm chocolate lava cake for dessert!!

Enjoy every moment!!
~ Sandie

Rae, I will definitely tell Maclean that you send him big hugs! It will have to wait until tomorrow night because we are doing Palo tonight.

Crazymomma and her husband lostboyinva are our tablemates, it was great to finally meet people face to face.

Just got through with the wine tasting. Interesting. I am not a big fan of wine, and now I am sure of that! It was fun though, plus we got a pin.

Toodles for now.
Joanne
