Remember when we were all talking about occupations and you all asked me what I do? You don't? Hmmmm.....

Anyway, here is what I do and, by the way, I do get paid for it:


I don't do as many of these as I used to -- but last year I paid for our WDW vacation and Wonder cruise with my earnings

They are beautiful. You have talent, talent I say. I only paint ceramics. Nothing that beautiful though. Just do it for the teachers, principals, kitchen helpers, etc for Hunter's school. I end up doing about 30 each Christmas.

Would somebody please fill me in on the 'Cheeze Whiz' joke? BTW, that was ME in the Corona photo. (It was also airbrushed to make me look blonde, and 25 years younger, and, well I won't say anymore! )

Lampy, if the weather is as miserable as you say it is, then Miller lite isn't going to make it better. (But hot buttered rum, eggnog, or brandy will! Tis the season! )

It's frickin' snowing AGAIN....this time w/30 mph winds here in NW Indiana....a good day to "tilt a few" what ya think?

This should help you....since everybody has been sharing recipes.

I'm thinking about trying to make these.....

Jose Cuervo Christmas Cookies
1 cup of water
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup of sugar
1 tsp salt
1 cup or brown sugar
4 large eggs
1 cup nuts
2 cups of dried fruit
1 bottle Jose Cuervo Tequila

Sample the Cuervo to check quality. Take a large bowl, check the Cuervo again, to be sure it is of the highest quality, pour one level cup and drink.

Turn on the electric mixer... Beat one cup of butter in a large fluffy bowl.

Add one teaspoon of sugar. Beat again. At this point it's best to make sure the Cuervo is still OK, try another cup..just in case.

Turn off the mixerer thingy. Break 2 leggs and add to the bowl and chuck in the cup of dried fruit, Pick the frigging fruit off the floor..

Mix on the turner. If the fried druit gets stuck in the beaterers just pry it loose with a drewscriver. Sample the Cuervo to check for tonsisticity.

Next, sift two cups of salt, or something. Who giveshz a sheet. Check the Jose Cuervo. Now shift the lemon juice and strain your nuts.. Add one table. Add a spoon of sugar, or somefink. Whatever you can find. Greash the oven.

Turn the cake tin 360 degrees and try not to fall over. Don't forget to
beat off the turner. Finally, throw the bowl through the window, finish the
Cose Juervo and make sure to put the stove in the dishwasher.

Pris, No joke here. When Tonya and Trey went snorkeling with us I had a can of Cheese Whiz. The fish were all over me, driving me nuts. So I squirted cheese whiz in my hand and tossed it over by Tonya and Trey a few times and the fish swarmed them. It was good clean cheese whiz fun.

Willie, that Cheez Whiz is a good idea for Rob whenever he snorkels again. (Didn't this time, thought the water was too cold at CC, but realized too late how warm it was in Costa Maya.) Maybe he should use it for bait too, he loves to fish.

Hey 5 O'Clock, I have a similar recipe for the Jose Cuervo cookies, only mine calls for Jack Daniels. Same results.

Geeez. We fell down to number four on the trip reports page! I actually had to do a little work this morning. It looks like everybody else must have tried out Laurie's cookie recipe!

How is the weather in everybody's neck of the woods. It is 79 and sunny here!


The weather reminds me of a Friday afternoon a few weeks ago. Let me see, I think I was on Castaway Cay, yes that's it.

Anyway, it was time for our annual banana boat ride. We had not made reservations, but took a walk over to the boat beach to see if we could catch a ride.

So, who do we run into? The Lampy family!

We got to ride Lampy's banana! (Man, that sounds wrong doesn't it!)

Anyway, here is the obligatory photo:

Those are two of the TCD DD's on the front of the boat (I'm not saying banana any more). I got to sit right behind Lampy.

Well, it was a wild ride, as I'm sure you might have suspected. The lady next to me was scared to death and was crying. Lampy was bouncing like a kangaroo! Luckily. no one fell off.

Man, I wish I was back there!

Whew, I'm not even going to comment on that because I got into some trouble here for talking about the b_____ boat thing before. So I won't say anything about that at all.

Ooops, too late.

I didn't ride the big yellow boat. I thought I might, but then I decided not to. I'm glad I for once made the right decision because I would have hated it, I know it.

My small dd flew off the boat, well almost, because the guy behind her grabbed her by the leg as she flew by and reeled her back in. Lucky for her because she would have been a tasty morsel for those sharks out there.

My bigger dd came off practically blinded by the salt spray in her eyes. You don't want to be around this particular dd on a bad day, sometimes not even on a good day. Anyhow, I don't think she liked it much either.

I would have been the lady crying, I know that for sure.

Actually, this is a photo of Scotty. Do you remember that song, "Watching Scotty Grow"? Thiat song was written for this particular baby. You might not remember that song unless you are old like me or a Bobby Goldsboro fan. Personally, I would rather be old like me than be a Bobby Goldsboro fan.

But, anyway, "Watching Scotty Grow" is apparently a favorite past-time of his.
