I've really been wanting to play blackjack ever since...21 or BUST

Now understandably I've been speaking mostly with the males, but Molli when in the world did you pack? Or did I miss some magic and packing woulda happened had I ventured out on the last night??? I was packing ALL NIGHT the last night and never left the room.... it was quite distressing! Especially since my whole family was tired and just lying around WATCHING ME --- (read: in my way).

I do have a question for those who have had two rooms... we booked two for our next cruise and am wondering if I will get to get extra KTTW cards for each room so that DH and I both have keys to both rooms?

I'm a computer idiot...if I can get one of my buddies to convert high 8 to digital and load it, maybe I can post it.....I'll check into it.

Plus, having my BIL's on the cruise would give me endless material for people to crack on! My DW's brother is married to a nice Southern Baptist lady. He used to be a lot of fun, but now it is no drinking, smokin' or cussin' for him! I would love to see that family on a cruise with our bunch! I'm thinkin' the little missus would die of shock! Hey, he might be interested after all!

Andrew, believe it or not, we're Southern Baptists. BUT...(and notice I put that in capital letters) we're not the stereotype. Believe me, I KNOW the kind of which you're speaking, and we don't wish to associate with them either.

In all honesty, I don't think anyone would've died from shock meeting anyone in our Thanksgiving group, as you all are some of the kindest, fun-loving, and family-oriented people anyone could hope to meet!

And I agree with you 100% about everyone being kind and fun-loving. It was so much fun to be able to walk around the ship and almost always run into someone from our group!

Sherri,

Yes, just go to Guest Services and ask for additional room keys. They gave us 'the old ones' (with Tinkerbell on them) as extras so it was easier to figure out which key went to which room. We also brought along a marker and made special notations (not the room number) on the cards to help us keep them straight.

I just went to guest services and asked for 1 nore card for each room....all it did was open the door, no charging to that card was allowed. Myself and Alli who technically switched rooms carried 2 KTTW cards, 1 for charging and 1 for opening the room.

No, you did not offend me. I'm still laughing. We do know a handful of families in our church who are just the way you describe your SIL (even exaggerated.) We just look at each other (discreetly) and roll our eyes. Some of them do take it to extremes. Rob even commented at one of the deck parties (pirate night, I think,) 'I wonder what Pastor Wallace would have to say about this?' And I said back..'he'd be smiling, seeing all of the families happy together, but would drink ginger ale instead of beer.' LOL! Most families in our church won us over by being that way, but we turn a deaf ear to the extremists.' I think I had more drinks than you did, and I probably even know more 'jokes not told on DISboards' than anyone. But I try to be good in other ways, LOL!

Lampy, I hear ya in OH - tha snow passes over you and right on to Dayton - say - if I am "snowed in" tonight 5J's must be too! Whoever asked about their son, I have been keeping close watch on newspaper - so far so good- no word that father/hurt son or vice versa. Would feel much better tho if one of them posted soon.

Now, TCD - why in the world would an "older, mature" woman want to stop the fantasy that pix just "might" be her I'm still trying to actually face the fact that the cruise is aaaaa ---o--ov--ooovvv--er ~ yes - hard to say it DH was impressed with deck 7 - are birthday suits "allowed" there, we didn't think to ask, just took the chance (Molli this NOT for you to be reading, you aren't are you????) but he still says - had a great time but no more DIS cruises - lots of other places to go and see, etc. now ~ if I had only known there were nightly 'hold-em' games in Diversions - he just might have had second thoughts on a return trip! TCD- I say the way to get Mrs TCD convinced for the 10 day hammy cruise is a couple of Longenberger baskets, a trip/tickets to Oprah show and maybe just maybe - you bringing home a paycheck...BTW what are you telling her lately about the reduction of income ......all the playing on the boards must surely take away from those paying clients
