I would like to say to those of you still checking this thread that I really enjoyed meeting y'all. It made for a much better cruise having friends before I ever set foot onboard! And it was great to see Dis folks all over the place!

I don't think anyone has posted a photo of the snow family and the snow flying around on CC last Friday.

If you look carefully above the heads of the TCD family in this photo, you can see the snow flurries (no, it is not dandruff!)

I am sure that all CC visitors between now and Christmas will be treated to the same!

Great photo!I totally agree you need to use this photo for you Christmas picture.I loved the bike path photos too.We took the same bike path we had before.Charlie did roam this one a little,but not as far as you all did.We will have to check this one out in November when we go.

For those who missed th "Hot Legs" contest.

The black shirt is Andrew AKA "The Beast Legs"
The white shirt/red cap is Douggie AKA "Goofy Legs"
The no shirt is Lampy AKA "Tinkerbell Legs"

Andrew did what sort of looked like cartwheels.

Since this thread is kind of like a convoluted trip report, I will share my thoughts about the shopping area on Costa Maya. Man, we are sure lucky that we got a chance to visit this port! I was able to find a great Christmas gift for Mrs. TCD. And, the salespeople were so great to work with, too. Here is a photo of my oldest DD with Mrs. TCD's Christmas gift. Now, don't anyone tell her about this. Boy, it is hard waiting for Christmas morning. I can't wait to see the look on her face!

Like I have said before, the DW's of the Turkeyday Cruise men are the luckiest ladies around!

I know we all agreed that what happened on the cruise stays on the cruise, so I can't say too much. Let me just say that I saw Davis leaving this store with a pretty large bag! I know it sounds too good to be true, but you might be in for a big surprise on Christmas morning too!

I bet all the other DW's from other cruises are just green with envy over how great you ladies have it!

Oh yeah, and wasn't it interesting how these monkeys were all on display right next to the crucifixes and carvings of the Holy Family and Last Supper. Boy, I love Costa Maya! It is a TCD kind of place!

True, true....WHAT WAS I THINKING???!

Actually, for all of you future cruisers who are reading this & shaking your heads, shopping in Costa Maya was like a condensed Cozumel. REALLY condensed!! Lots & lots of cruisers....in a little bitty plaza! We found that we had better bargaining luck in Mahaual. Most of those poor guys were displaced from Coz, just trying to make a buck! (or so they claim)
Thank you Andrew, I got my own lovely ring there ~ playing lets make a deal w/ Pedro! The Silver/Opal started @ $68, and I got him down to $40. (pretty good compared to Coz last yr.) Then DH showed some interest in a silver/abalone money clip which interestingly enough ALSO started out @ $68. But since I was getting the ring, Monty Pedro came down to just $20!! The clincher was when we inquired about a box of sm. Cuban cigars (Cohibas)... (I already had an opening price of over $60 down the alley) Monty Pedro asked less than that but still too much. So as a last offer, I said, well, the guy down the street said $30 for the box of 10... guess what Monty replied??
"SOLD!!"
