Live from south florida..waiting for Frances...

We have been locked up like fort knox here in south florida waiting for this hurricane. The wind is now starting to pick up and there are some trees down and power outages. The shelters in Palm Beach County are almost full. Local hotels are sold out and everyone is just waiting. They say it might not make landfall until Sunday. I don't expect to have power for much longer, but wanted to wish everyone a safe outcome from this mess.

I hope everyone on board DCL or awaiting a cruise this weekend is safe and not too upset about everything. Best wishes to all!

Hang in there lookingforward.

We are in the path but not as bad as you. We just moved to Winter Haven (Polk County) the beginning of August and now will be in the 2nd Major Hurricane in 4 weeks. Just our luck that this area has not had a Major Hurricane in 40 years and after we move here 2 in a month. The sun is out right and the weather is beautiful but that is the so called "Calm before the storm". We are ready to go after Charley we now no what to be prepared for.

We were very excited to move here to be close to WDW and the DCL and as a matter of fact are going on the 10/8 Western.
