First, the internet here is the worst it's ever been-so unpredictable on whether it works. I'll try for a few observations. First, my experience having forgotten all my DME material, but I didn't have any checked luggage. First the CM at DME told me to go to the counter and get a voucher printed out, although she saw I had the Magic Band. Then when the CM at the counter told me I didn't need anything printed and I went back to tell the first CM (the one who'd told me to go to the counter), she said "I know-I wondered why you wanted to take the time to go to the counter." Second, concerning the MBs-just an observation, although I'm at a resort testing them and I would think that means that everyone here would have one, only about half the guests are wearing them. Check in-for the first time, I did the online check in, since I had the magic band, it seems to be part of the whole thing to do online check in. Well, on line check in certainly didn't cut down my time at check in, at least this time. Maybe it helps other people, but I certainly wouldn't recommend it. My room-this time I am close to an elevator, 2 doors away. Although it's not a limited savannah view, it IS pool view, it's so convenient to the elevator to Mara, and also there's a lovely bench right outside my room to overlook the savannah (I'll post a photo later if I can). Last night I went on the Boma and Jiko tour. They don't ask where you're staying and I'd recommend it to anyone. At Boma we had a little cup of carrot-ginger soup and a zebra dome. At Jiko we had the Taste of Africa, about 6 of them were out for 20 of us (some little children) to share. Now I know how Naan differs at Jiko from Sanaa. My refrigerator works fine. My coffee cup this morning was bigger than the usual tiny Jambo coffee cups. All refillable mugs at Mara were the RIFD ones.
