Hi there everyone,

We're having a great time at Disney. The weather has been beautiful and warm, and the air quality is good and clear.

Crowds on Sunday weren't bad at all. I was actually surprised is wasn't more crowded. Maybe some of the fires the previous week kept some people away.:confused3 Waits were short, maybe about 10 minutes, except for the slow loaders (Splash, Peter Pan, Dumbo, ect) and Nemo of course was about 40 minutes Sunday evening. We did end up doing Nemo and we all really liked it. Hopefully we'll ride it again with a shorter line.

Yesterday, crowds were a lot like Sunday, but waits weren't bad. A think a lot of people from Utah are heading home today, so it should be even lighter crowd wise starting today through Friday morning.

Fireworks on Sunday night were spectacular - Tinkerbell flew and flew!:cool1:

Well, we're on are way out. We need to check out of HOJO and check into Paradise Pier. We might go to Knott's today. I'll check back in with all of you again.

Talk to you all again soon.

Glad to hear you're having such a great time and that crowds are minimal. I'm interested to hear your impressions of the HoJo vs. PPH.

Crowd levels sound great! We'll be there starting Thursday and I was wondering how it would be.

Glad to hear your having a great time. The good crowd level is just icing on the cake!

Enjoy the rest of your trip!

Thats wonderful that your having such a great time. I hope you share more of your stories in the parks later on with us. :thumbsup2

Glad to hear your have a great time! Thanks for keeping us posted!

Thanks for letting us all know! I am glad to know that I should have clear-ish skies this week!

I'm looking forward to reading your review of Knott's. We'll be visiting that park 2 weeks from today. Hope it hasn't changed too much since 2001. I used to love going there.

It's another nice day here. Should be around 85 degrees today. I've got a sunburn on my chest from not wearing any sunscreen for the past 3 days. Oh the pains of vacation!:goodvibes

We're taking it easy today (we have to stay rested for MHT tonight), so we're getting a late start heading out to DL for a few hours.

We checked in to PPH yesterday. Room is great, view is wonderful. I took some great pictures of our room and view that I will post when I get home. We have a perfect view of the construction going on at the GCH too, which most people might not think is such a great of a view, but I love it!

The pool slide was closed yesterday due to bees (of all things). They had a swarm show up out of the blue, and they were all over the slide and surrounding palm trees. They had to spray the area and put out sticky bee traps all over the place. One of the lifeguards actually showed us one of the bee traps before he threw it away, and it was covered with hundreds of squirming bees. Luckily the bees are now gone, and the slide is open today.

I'll report back again as soon as I can. Everyone have a very fun and safe Halloween!

(By the way we really enjoyed our stay at the HOJO too. I'll give more details later.:thumbsup2 )

Well, it's Friday now and you can definately tell by the increase in crowds today. Not that it's crowded, because really it's still quite nice crowd wise with waits of about 10-15 minutes (except the slow loaders). The Halloween decor is coming down. The entrance into DL no longer has the big pumkin-Disney-character icons: the California letters outside of CA no longer look like big candy corns. NOS is all decked out in Christmas/winter holiday splendor and looks BEAUTIFUL!!!

We spent Halloween night at MHT. It was pretty fun and we got loads of candy! I wish they played a larger variety of music though. The same songs got old really fast. Waits for the rides were minimal, waits for candy went fast (even in long longs), but the waits for character meet-n-greets/pictures were sometimes painfully long, especially to meet Mickey and Minnie. Ryan, our 8 year old DS, rode the TOT for the first time with his dad, and he HATED IT!!! It scared him a lot!:scared1: He was very worried the rest of the night that he would have nightmares about it and he asked if I would leave on the bathroom light all night for him. I tried to make him feel better by teller him that TOT scared me a lot too. He said he never wanted to ride it again. I said, "Me either!":goodvibes

We just got done doing a little swimming and we're now getting ready to spend our last evening in the park. Tomorrow we check out, spend the day at the beach, then catch our flight home at 8:00pm.

My hubby and I had our green Mickey heads hanging from our backpacks all week (they even say Disney-super-mom on them) but no one from the DisBoards came up to us. I tried looking for Albort but never found him.:sad1: I tried to find Bree too at Nemo, but we didn't see her either.:sad1: I was kinda bummed. I was hoping to meet someone. Maybe next time.

Take care everyone. See you on the DisBoards when I get back.

Disney Super Mom, we will just miss. My crew is going for the 4th and the 5th. Have a safe trip home.

I had my lime green Mickey in my lanyard pouch the whole weekend we were there and didn't see anyone else with them either. :( I didn't get to meet up with Beth either, we tried but couldn't work it out. Hopefully next time we will do it!!

Sounds like you had a good time!! I'm glad. I'm sad the Halloween stuff is already coming down, we are on our way tomorrow for the weekend and I was hoping to see more candy corns. Oh well.

Yes indeed! Its a "two mommies" trip (leaving the DHs at work) with all four of our kids - all under six. I'm hoping for swimming weather to take advantage of the fabulous slide...

I tried...I kept my eyes out for your Mickey heads, but I never saw them. Could be we were too busy chasing after my 2 year old niece. Loved the light crowds during the week, we haven't seen it like that in many years. We left yesterday at 3PM for our 400 mile drive home (never driving again with 3 kids). My DD and I picked up APs so we will have an excuse to go back. We still want to take the Segway tour, so we'll have to sneak in an adult trip.
