Just a quick update for those interested.....
Mon 11/5 - Went to MK for the full day, even though Mondays are supposedly the most crowded days according to the guides. Weather was cloudy thanks to the passing hurricane (which, fortunately for us, kept passing and didn't linger). Just a few drops of rain here, though. Certainly nothing to stop us. The park was quite crowded, in my opinion. This was my first trip to Disney, so I really don't have much to compare it to. However, when considering the time of year, state of the economy, the terrorism threat and Hurricane Michelle, I guess I had expected fewer people. Maybe it was the "Jersey Week" effect. Hard to say. The wait for the rides like Space Mountain and Buzz Lightyear were 40-45 minutes. We used fasspass quite a bit, actually. I'm not complaining, mind you, because we had a wonderful time. Just saying that I thought there'd be fewer people, considering. As far as the cutbacks and the attitude of the employees, it sure wasn't evident to me and everyone smiled and seemed happy. The park was in beautiful condition and very clean.
Onward to Epcot !!
