waiting to cruise tomorrow and all it has done is rain
saw the wonder thursday driving in
all i could think was wow
i am on a pocket pc so forgive my typing
kids don't know yet so that adds some excitement to our wet day

Don't dispair...we have had a few cruises from Port Canaveral where it was pouring....had to have the sailway indoors....but once out at sea the sun came out!!!!

We're sitting here in Savannah on our way to the port, all it did was rain on our drive down from NC. Hopefully it clears up by the time we get to the Radisson this afternoon.

At the very least I hope its nice tomorrow for the sail away.

How exciting for your kids!!! Have a WONDERful Cruise!!!

I remember before our first cruise in August 2003, there was a family with a few young children and they were staying at the Radisson where we stayed the night before the cruise. My family and their family were in the first shuttle van headed to the port on Saturday morning. My DW being the outgoing type of person she is asked the children, "Are you excited about getting on Mickey's boat this morning?" Well, the kids didn't know anything about the cruise until that moment, it was also going to be a surprise, the parents weren't going to say anything about the cruise until the children saw the Magic. Needless to say, my DW felt quite bad about spilling the beans. We saw this family on the ship several times during the week, and I don't know how many times my DW apologized to the parents, but they were both great about the whole thing. I did find out that this couple were DISboard lurkers, so guys, if you are reading this, my DW still feels bad about letting out your secret, and we hope we get to sail with you again someday.

It's 8:45 AM and we are on the 11 Am shuttle from the Radisson to the ship.

DS is bouncing all over the room. Thank you again Andy for his postcard of Stitch.

The weather finally cleared up at around 5 and we got to spend some time in the pool.
