Well.....we're here!!! The weather is amazing. I really am enjoying the Beach Club. The pool is fabulous. I don't love the counter service selections. Love being able to walk to Epcot. The room is OK. Nothing spectacular but we do have a view of Spaceship Earth and Fireworks which is awesome.

We used Kids Nite out and had Joycie B and it was great!!

The crowds are quite larger than I had anticipated but totally doable.

If anyone has any questions about this place, let me know. Our plan is for MK tomorrow morning for EMH and then Ak in the Evening.

I know....I just meant that the room was a bit outdated looking that's all.

We are home now...a day late because we spent an extra night bc our flight out from Orlando was over 4 hours delayed.

We really had a nice time at the BCV and can't wait to try BWV in October.

I'm glad you had a nice time! We were in studio 431 just a bit before your visit, and loved the weather and it all! There were only a few love bugs around then, how about when you were there?

Did you use Kids Nite Out last Sunday? I think we sat next to your kids and Joycie on the beach when we were watching Finding Nemo.

We saw almost no love bugs at all.
We did use Kids Nite out but the kids stayed in our room so it must have been someone else that you saw at the beach. I didn't feel comfortable having them around the hotel with a babysitter. They were both in bed by 8pm that night (the earliest of our trip).

We're heading to BCV in November for the first time. What would you suggest for a good view? We're taking DD14 & DS16 It's so hard to put in a request when you've never seen it. Cheers!

Are they still doing the beach movies at night? Did you get an activity schedule at check-in? When you say you aren't crazy about the counter service selections, do you mean what's offered at BC Marketplace? If so, I'd be interested to know-what don't you like about it? Last year, they took away the availability of a piece of fruit as part of the CS meal-that didn't thrill me! But I thought their coconut bars were good. What kind of view do you have-pool, courtyard, road-Epcot, woods? Thanks.

This was the first time I was at BCV. Our first room had a view of the villas pool (which was being rehabbed). I asked to move because it was a handicap room and i wanted to have a tub for my girls.

Our second room view was of spaceship earth and it was really nice. We were usually back at our hotel by 9pm and so we got to watch the fireworks almost every night from our balcony. The only down side to having the view was that it was a long walk down the hall to the elevator. We didn't mind it too much though.

Yes, they had movies on the beach. Every night at 8pm. They also did roasted marshmellows starting at 7:30. They give you a list of all the activities for the week when you check in.

As far as counter service food is concerned, we just felt that the options were really limited. The Beach Club is pretty small and so the Marketplace is also very small. So far, Animal Kingdom seems to have the nicest counter service as far as we are concerned. We haven't stayed at Boardwalk (we will be there in October) or OKW.
