Live chat when to give up?

It's 10:15p on the east coast. I started waiting for live chat twelve hours ago. I had a virtual doctor's appointment at 3p, and just knew that would be when they took me. Sure enough. I chatted with the rep and asked them if I could delay the video call 10 min. She said no, but rejoin the queue and you'll get connected back to me "right away." I rejoined the queue 6 hours ago. Nothing. Don't they end service at 10p? If I haven't been taken by now should I give up for today?

To me live chats have always been better when you do them early, right at their opening time. The wait time seems to be less.

It is a long process no matter what.

Last weekend I tried on Saturday logging in around 830am. Got called around 1215 when I was at one of the kids bb games and right when I was having trouble logging back in on my phone. Reloaded back in a 1:15 and never got through. Sunday morning had a little trouble getting the initial chat window but logged in by 720, got through around 10am and was able to complete. Early is definitely better.

I ended up holding on the app til 10:55pm, at which point I got a message saying they were done for the night. The next morning I signed on at 7a like I was trying to get a spot for Rise of the Resistance back before standby. I was all set within 10 min.
