Live BLT trip report starting 10/14/12

Animal Kingdom was awesome! We got there right after rope drop. Crowds were light while we were there today.

EE was first on our list.

The kids all rode Primeval Whirl. They love that ride. We became honorary bugs at ITTBAB.

Fast passes were ripe for our safari.

We ate lunch at Pizzafari. Everyone voted to go cool off at Typhoon Lagoon.

We came back, showered, and took the monorail to the Poly to eat dinner at Kona. All ours meals were terrific. I had the Teriyaki Steak, DW had shrimp and noodles, DF had the seared duck, DFDW also had the Teriyaki Steak, DFDS had the pork chop, DFDD had sushi and DS had the kid's cheeseburger. The appetizer pot stickers were very, very good. Bread with the macadamia nut butter is to die for. After dinner we came back to the hotel, went to the arcade, then watched the fireworks from our balcony. Tomorrow is our YES program at Epcot. We have to be there bright and early!

The pics from your balcony are amazing. Can't wait to go even though we are only staying there for 1 night in a standard studio. I doubt we'll get upgraded to the view that you have. Keep up the fun. Seems your DFF' s 1 st time is a hit. Did they get bitten by the Disney bug yet?

The balcony has been a huge plus for us. It will be hard to be here next year without it. Here is some for getting the upgrade! The Disney bug has definitely hit the kids. I am sure DF's will get it.

We were out of the room by 8:00 this morning for the YES program at Epcot.
DS and DFD had the ocean discoveries about sea turtles. DFS had a photography class. DW and I let DF and DFW sleep in.

The classes were over at 11:30. We ate counter service at the Electric Umbrella. Then came back and met DF and DFW. We took the monorail over to MK.

We rode Pirates of the Caribbean first. We had got fast passes for JC on the way to POTC. They were ready after the ride.

Next up was Splash Mountain.

We went to Mickeys Philharmagic for a great show.

Buzz Lightyear was next. FDS really kicked my butt.

We watched a great show thanks to "that guy" at Laugh Floor Monsters Inc.
Then we came back to the BLT to rest before dinner. We ate at Contempo Cafe. Which everyone liked. We shopped and pin traded. Then we went to the arcade.

DS hit the 1000 ticket on the pull down game. You would have thought he won the lottery jumping and dancing around.

We came back and took the kids up to check out the Top of the World Lounge. Thought I would never say this but, we came down to our room to watch Wishes.

We are having a later start this morning. We are going to Blizzard Beach which opens at 10:00 today. DFs fly out late this afternoon. We will truly miss them. We have had one of the Best times with them. DFs are crazy. They want to leave straight from BB and go to the airport. We will have all there gear packed in the car. It's kind of cloudy which might be good for a water park day.
