We are at BWV right now. Got here on Monday at 8 AM. The room was not ready, but we were off to MK - our room number was text messaged to us at 3 PM. We have been to all 4 parks and crowds are not that bad. Using fast pass, so we have not waited more than 20 minutes. We did Cirque on Tuesday, it is a really good show - highly recommended!
We found something new at Epcot, the Kim Possible spy game. The kids get a cell phone with a transmitter attached and they have to follow clues in the different countries. The transmitter allows them to interact with different things like singing beer steins in Germany, starting the wall fall in the Koi pond in Japan. It is cool because my kids are too big for the masks at Kidcot. Another good Disney idea!!
Any questions? I'll try to check back later today.

Glad you liked Kim Possible, my DD did 2 missions in January and would have done more if I had let her:rotfl: She plans on doing 2 more missions when we go in 10 days.
Where is your room located?

We will be there Jun 8th (unfortunately, it will be much hotter) Can you comment on what accomodations you have, what room # and the condition of your room?

Also, regarding the Kim Possible game, what ages are your kids?

I wish we were there now!

Enjoy yourselves.:thumbsup2

Another request for your children's ages. :) But the Kim Possible sounds like a great option for older kids.

Have fun enjoy your holiday!!

What type room are you in, where is it located, and does it appear to have been refurbished? Any obvious signs of refurb going on at the resort? I saw a previous report of scaffolding outside some of the standard-view rooms.

They'll text you with your room number? I thought you had to keep calling the resort. That's pretty cool !! Is that just DVC or all the resorts?

Sounds like a fun trip so far. That is cool that they texted you your room number - I've never heard of that before! I hope you continue to have a fabulous vacation. I'll keep checking back for more! :goodvibes

Could this be connected to online check-in? I would love to get a text with the room number. It saves a lot of hassle.

Great news!!

My kids are 14 and 13, and they are past the mask-making stage, so the Kim possible phone thing is great. It's like Disney knows that 13 yr old girls like cell phones...
We are in a 2BR with a pool view. The room is in good condition, the only problem is the door to the laundry comes off the track. Today is our trash and towel day and still no new towels as of 3:25.
I went for a 9 mile run (a few times around the boardwalk and back and forth to the Studios) and then spent a few hours at the pool. I like the clown slide. Sure beats work!

I was there last Sunday just walking around and can verify that they did have scaffolding up on the standard view rooms on the DVC side.

I hope they are done with the refurbishing by the time we get there in mid-June, but that is probably too optimistic.

yes, they are working on the roof on the standard view side.

We went to the Studios this morning - did Toy Story, RR and TT. Off to the pool now and then Epcot. It is hot today. Love that Florida weather!
