Monday was Magic Kingdom day!:woohoo: First off was the beautiful boat ride there.

This place is beautiful, but I wouldn't trade the Fort for it.

Grammy didn't go to MK with us because she had other plans. This is her:

NOT!!!!!
I'm sure she was sitting under the awning counting the hours until Y&R came on.:rolleyes1

This site brings tears to my eyes every time and makes me feel all :goodvibes.

Gretchen was dying to ride SM because it was closed for refurbishment when we were there last fall. So that's where we headed first. Not before we took a potty break though. Gage repeatedly asked me not to ask him if he needed a "potty break.":rotfl2: Oh the joys of being a Mom.

Hey Gretchen, we're here!!!

I screamed like a girl the whole ride mainly to aggravate/embarrass my kiddos, but also to keep my mind off the fact that at any moment that yucky motion sickness thing might kick in and I might hurl. Now that would REALLY embarrass G & G.

I let them ride SM a few more times while I people watched outside. I don't know if it was because it was hot or what, but I noticed some outrageous clothing!:scared1: I'm not as bold as TCD to take pictures of some of the things I saw, but let me just say again :scared1: :scared1:!!

Sorry to keep splitting up my posts. Evidently I'm putting too much of something of another. I don't know. It's early. I didn't read exactly what it said.

Next up, The PM.
100_2032.jpg

100_2033.jpg

While on the PM, a friend of mine called me. I answered because I figured it was something of importance. She knew I was camping at Disney and would surely not be calling just to chat. I was actually a little nervous when I answered the phone, fearing the worst. She wanted to ask me for my bread recipe!?!?!?! WHAT?!?!?!:confused3:confused:

We will gladly hang out with you at the campsite, and we will even make meals for you and family. No need to clean, or cook. I don't do those things so why should you.
TR is really good, love the pictures.

Dave's girls were raised in a moho. They'd probably look at him like what is this thing daddy?
We used to have a popup. Then a TT. Then the MH. Hopefully next year we will be getting another TT. So, logic would have it that a few years after that we will be going back to a popup.

5 teenage girls and their parents would fit in a popup, right? :rotfl:

As long as I put up a seperate tent for the clothes and beauty supplies.

Did you hit my boat? Priorities Lance? He's one of the few who have em straight. 1. boat 2. dog. 3 guns 4. wife 5. kids

It's a good thing I wasn't sipping coffee yet lol.

It sleeps 7. To be honest I enjoy going in the pop up as much as the 5'er. It's cheap to pull, and not much to set up. The only pain is night time bathroom runs. Now if the comfort stations weren't clean I wouldn't say this.

I've seen a few people use the tents for luggage and a changing room.

So, I'm sipping my coffee, catching up on your TR, and I get to this:

Another coffee spit-take! This is *so* me and my boys! You'd think I'd learn, but nope -- more coffee, and...

:scared1: I'm gonna put down the coffee! That's hilarious -- was she having a bread emergency? :rotfl:

You've got such sweet kids -- looks like you were having a ball!

Before I write about our first Sunday, I want to prove that I really do have a husband and he is a wonderfully talented guy. I hope it's okay for me to attach this. This is Lance, my husband, singing at a recording at our church a few years ago. ETA: The video is long so don't feel like you have to watch the whole thing.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CXdS9j114FU

Wow Liv! That's awesome. And I should point out to people who clicked and listened for a minute or two...if you don't at least listen through the 4:00 mark of the video, you will miss hearing Lance REALLY take off! Great video.

So there is yet another reason for you to move to Nashville. He should be working in the Christian recording industry.

There isn't a pop up, TT, 5'er or MH with enough bathrooms that would make me feel secure with 5 teenage girls.

I believe we left off at the PM and the bizarre phone call from a friend. I might add here that I told her I did not have my bread recipe memorized and that I would call her as soon as I got back into town. I have called her twice now and she has not returned my call.:confused3

Next up was Buzz Lightyear to the rescue...

Gage is on a mission to beat my score...
100_2042.jpg

I always take their picture in this "cage," but I seem to remember it being on a different wall this trip???
100_2050.jpg

Gretchen and I just LOVE COP...
100_2051.jpg

100_2053.jpg

Gage, not so much...
100_2052.jpg

We discovered this animal cracker and Gage wanted me to pay him $5 to eat it. I told him he could eat it but there would be no $5 reward. 14 year olds will do anything for money.
100_2054.jpg

As soon as we left COP, Gretchen saw Stitch - one of her favorites...
100_2055.jpg

100_2056.jpg

Which then led going to the attraction...

No, no Donnie, that order is not correct. (He doesn't have dogs.)
1. vehicle/guns/hunting/boat 2. wife and kids
:rotfl2:
That's not really the way it is, but it certainly feels that way during hunting season.

I'm glad I could offer some form of entertainment for you. :)

Thanks Dave! He's actually had several calls from gospel groups to do the full time thing. The only thing they care about is how high can you get - because he's a tenor. He's NEVER been asked about his walk with the Lord or his relationship with his family. For the most part, and I'm certainly not saying this about every group, it's about entertainment.:sad2:

Loving this report.

Thank you for sharing and you have a wonderful family.
Again, thank you. I am blessed to have what I have.

Your husband is amazing! What a gift!
Thank you.

So did you notice the dirt smear across the dad's forehead on COP? It was in one of the earlier "segments". Bruce and I thought that was pretty funny. If you didn't notice it, they may have given him a bath on the day you went...

COP is a classic. I know it's so corny but it's old Disney that I remember as a kid. We have made it a tradition to go Thanksgiving weekend when we visit the MK.

Sing it with me............. It's a great big beautiful tomorrow, shining at the end of everyday. Can you hear him singing it as the seats are moving lol. Wait til Small World opens back up. Then u can get that song stuck in your head.

Managed to find some time to check in on your trip report, Liv. Lots of smiles, so it must have been good. Great pics, too. Kids take the best pictures. Adults spend too much time trying to get the right shot and miss all the really good ones. Kids just point and shoot and come up with some really good stuff

I know what you mean. Just with my DW and 2 DD's, I grab my bath bag & head to the comfort station for the morning ritual.

Great TR! Somehow, I have missed seeing this... I need new contacts...
Better late than never! Your kids are gorgeous - looks like you guys had a ball! That's neat to see your Dad there too - I am a Daddy's girl, too, and I lost my Daddy three years ago - sure miss him!
Can't wait to read more!!!

:cheer2::cheer2:

Liv, I wish I could count the times I've been called regarding a bread emergency! What a coincidence! ;)

Great stuff! This TR is just plum good! Potty breaks and all. :goodvibes

:rotfl2: Oh my goodness. Now I've got a mental picture of you singing this....and I'm crackin' up!!!!!! (If we were there at the same time, I'd sing it to the top of my lungs with you!)

I don't think the poor fellar had had a bath.

So you only go to COP during Thanksgiving? Why not any of the other million times a year you're at MK?:rolleyes1

My kids will be so grateful to you now that I'll be singing this the rest of the day - especially Gage.

Glad you could stop by for a visit, especially since you didn't stay at the Fort long enough for me to meet you. I'm still traumatized by the lack of that experience.;)

No problem. It's taken me nearly me all week to get in a day and half, so we're really just gettting started.

Great, now not only am I gonna be singing this all day, I get to picture Donnie singing it too!
