Just back from Target and I got 2 sets.
One for DD7 for xmas and one for my niece, 23. As I was driving to Target my niece called to see if I was at Target. Told her I was on my way and she said to get her a set. I was going to give it to her for xmas, but now she's going to pay me instead.
The animals are all really cute!
My niece opened hers up. We checked hasbro.com to figure out the differences (color of fur, eyes, etc.).
My Target only had about 2-3 sets left on the end cap. My DM was at our other Target (about 10 miles away) and said they had alot left.
As I was leaving the cashier said "wow, these things are really popular today!" I told her my DD7 was very into them. Her daughter is only 4 so I told her she'll probably get into them in a yr. or 2.
Of course, now that my niece has this set I'll probably return the set I got at Kohls last week, plus I have some 2 animal sets to return. None of the hard to finds, except for the seahorse, I guess.
Oh, one other thing, while walking around Target I found some sets of LPS I hadn't seen before. They were located in the stocking stuffers area. Each tube had 3 pets. They had 2 different sets. They were $4.99/tube. I checked them out and my DD has most of them so I didn't buy them. There was a bunny, hamster, doggies, cat, etc. None of the hard to finds.

(Added-I just checked ebay for fun and saw that the sets that have already sold are going for alot $47+, but it looks like the sets listed within the past few hours aren't selling. Many of them have no bids listed.)
