littlest pet shops

My DD was just recently introduced to LPS, so I'm new to all of this. . . I love the looks of the Whirl Around Playground, but everywhere is out of stock. Is this something that will get stocked again before Christmas, or am I best to buy it on E-Bay now??

Around here, the only place that still has the playground is Toys R Us.

I just ordered DD one from hasbrotoyshop - it came today & is really cute.

I have tried to replace this LPS dog DD6 has lost. Well I can't find it any where, in my travels I have purchased at least 20 LPS. That includes the LPS Playground that DD6 wants for Christmas, It has the dog in brown that she has lost!!! I'm getting nervous and am thinking if they are selling out now, I wonder how Christmas is going to be.

Great, I get on the bandwagon when they become really hot. It's frustrating to find the ones my DD wants. She wants the persian kitty portable. I did buy from Hasbro the golder retriever portable which was one of the ones she wanted. Hopefully, I can find the persian one before Christmas and put it in her stocking.

I'll have to save some for Easter and her birthday.

it's kind of funny that they didn't make toys r us' top 15 "hottest" gifts for christmas. All dd wants for xmas is littlest pet shop stuff. She could care less about barbie and the 12 dancing princesses. On the bright side, target does seem to be getting the new ones in now, found the chinchilla (sp?) and st. bernard and the 2 new playsets there yesterday. Still looking for the spider and the snail and the squirrel... (this has got to be worse than going to mcdonalds everyday when they were doing teenie beanies! ) good luck to everyone.

well, the Toys R Us "hot toy list" is kind of famous for being more of a "these are the toys that we decided to really overstock our shelves with this year and we now need you all to come in and buy them so we aren't stuck with them in January."

In fact, they even state there somewhere that they have a policy of avoiding any toy that they feel they cannot adequately stock.


Has anybody else been looking at the Disney Fairies Tree playset? I haven't heard much about it but the display looks really neat to me.

I agree, my DD is not into Barbie either. She just wants Biggest Little Pet Shop and My Little Pony Castle and carriage. She wanted the Fisher Price Fp3 player, but we decided against it at this time, since she wanted other things. I told her she can't ask for anything else, because she's reached her max on things to ask for.

Then I realize the barbie cruise ship had been taken over by llittlest pet shop hamsters and there wasn't a barbie in site...

My DD who is turning 5 soon has been into LPS's for about 2-3 years now. They are relatively cheap so I can't complain too much. She has a pretty big collection and still has not gotten bored with them, which is something rare when it comes to children and toys! lol Her other favorite things are My Little Pony and Barbie stuff but she plays with her LPS's the most!

In my time of shopping for these, I have found Target to be the best for two reasons. #1 they have exclusive LPS's found only at Target #2 They usually have a good variety including some of the "rare" ones. On vacation up north, I've found Meijers also to be a good place to shop for these. That is where I got the seahorse. Wal-Mart is good depending on which location you go to (I have two nearby, one has a very small selection and the other has a good selection with many "rare" animals.) I recently found the monkeys, chinchilla, and the new one with the pony in it.

As for the Hasbro website, I've ordered with them twice and here's what I can tell you. They are very slow with shipping. Their estimated shipping times are never correct. One of the orders I made recently said my item wouldn't ship for 4 weeks, but it shipped in 2. The other items in the order said they'd ship within a 3-4 days and it took a week. They also use the slowest shipping possible. It's been over a week and I'm still waiting for my Rarity unicorn MLP and mouse/rat LPS animals. I did, however, save 25% and get free shipping, but that's not that big of a deal since they often times go on B1G1 sales.

It would be nice to find a LPS swap. I've checked eBay and they want RIDICULOUS prices for stuff I can get at Wal-Mart for under $5. I'd love to get my hands on a large lot of them (unopened and pre-played with is fine!) for cheap. Or ones that she really wants but can't get because eBayers buying large amounts for resale. My daughter does not care about the "collecting" aspect, she just loves to play with them!

rofl, yeah the barbie town house, camper and some random doll house have all been taken over by the littlest pets. Even my grandmother's dollhouse has been taken over. it's pretty funny.

as for hasbro... just got one of my orders, not the one I was expecting mind you, but the one with the spider and the snail. have no idea where the order with non "new" ones is. that one I got an email saying it had shipped on the 6th of oct. it's now the 20th...

Just an FYI...I was just at Walmart...the sets are on sale for 2.97!! Good deal...unfortunately I already had the ones from there that I really wanted...they did have one of the seahorses...I got the mice with the cheese. But if people can find some at their local Walmart that is an awesome deal...guess I might have bought others had I known that they were so cheap.

And I just got back from Sam's Club they had LOADS of the Shop that people are looking for with the extra pets...I cannot remember which six there were but I believe there was a panda, monkey, butterfly, a cat, a dog and pig.

LOL As much as I used to love barbies neither of my kids want anything to do with them. I think barbie is loosing her touch. I guess they have already exhausted everything and now the kids are bored with them. I mean what else can they make she has had every career, tried every sport, been pregnant, had multiple children, owned many cars, campers and planes.
