I'm curious about the McDonald's Happy Meal info also...anyone?

I'm afraid they will be like the Polly Pockets........we were very disappointed in them.

My sister was looking for several of them and the spider was one of them I just saw at Wal-mart. She was also looking for the hermit crab and I just happen to be in K-mart Sunday night and found 5 of them. Today there were none. I think you just have to know when a shipment is coming in and stalk the store. My sister was looking for these for her niece and she has about 100 of them. I have a dd7 and we are just getting started.

I was just at Walmart and they had a WHOLE bunch of the hard to find ones, the Spider set, the snail set...I was surprised to see them...and mad because I paid more to get them from Hasbro, but I am glad that I have them.

That is TOTALLY how my life goes...but then you know had you not bought it you would have never seen it on the shelves. I lucked out the other weekend and found the picnic set that has the ladybug! I was SO excited for that one.

I have way too many to give DD for Christmas and darned if you don't know, I found a bunch of new ones I hadn't seen before at Walmart yesterday...

They are TOTALLY addicting to buy...I know my husband has asked me several times if I am buying them for me or DD? I guess it is the thrill of the hunt.

Good luck finding the Tiniest Tinyest Pet stuff...I hasn't seen ANY in my rounds.

I was at k-mart today and they have them but one get one 50% off. They are little more expensive 4.99 but 50% is nice. I found several good ones spider, hermit crab, snail. We have a Super Target and Super walmart across street from this K-mart and i think it often gets over looked. I was very excited. I to have way to many for my girls but i think the will be so surprised on christmas.

I have found them in Walmart just floating around.... in the LPS section. Usually, one at a time, sitting by itself somewhere.

My theory is that they aren't really supposed to be out yet, but a couple have come in on the trucks and the employees don't know what to do with them so they just toss them in with the other things.. My friend found hers in a dump bin in the middle of the aisle. She had to rummage through.

Their package is shaped kinda roundish... like the virtual pets... so, keep your eyes open!!!

I think they have 3 different sets... I have the cats and the hamsters.. but I think there is a dog set also!!

Oh that is so cool! I was just at Wal-Mart running in to get something real quick, I wish I would've had time to look. I did look at Target today and they didn't have anything I needed. I really really hope I find these before Christmas because they'd make excellent gifts!

Welcome to the "LPS Club", one purchase is all it takes before you're officially sucked in!

There is such a wide variety of packages to get started, everything from single pets to tubes of several pets to playhouses and carrying cases!

One great way to start would be to get the Little Lovin' Playhouse (retails for about $19.xx) which comes with a nice sized house and a handful of pets. They also have sets around $12.99 or so that include a small playhouse and 2-3 pets. The single or pair of pets retail for anywhere between $2.99-$6.99 depending on where you shop (on average, it is about $3.XX-$4.XX) so if she wants an additional specific animal, you could get a pack or so of those to go along with it.

You can find these at Family Dollar, Big Lots, Target, Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Sams Club, Kohls, Limited Too, Toys R Us, etc., so depending on where you shop, you can find lots of different deals and various playsets that would start her with a few pets and a playhouse for her to play with them in.

I just broke down and bought the Teeniest Tiniest Pet Shop toys on eBay ...normally I won't pay the increased prices of things on there, but I have made some $$ selling things so I just did it...I got the three sets that are out now for $40 and some change...hopefully I didn't get ripped off TOO bad...I am sure I paid $15 or so more then they will be in the store.

Thanks for the info. That's all we need is to collect one more thing!!! Anyway, I went to Sams and they didn't have anything. I went to Target and it seems that the Lovin Playhouse was like $39, but I may have not looked at the right sticker on the shelf. They had the Get Well Center. I didn't buy yet though. I think I'll run to Big Lots at lunch. Thanks again

The only thing I have seen is a book that covers the earlier ones. If you go to Amazon and search Littlest Pets you will find it. I ordered it and it should arrive any day now.

The list at the Hasbro site is not very good.

Also, there is a retailer listed above (found it: entertainmentearth) - the pics there are very good. You could print those off and use them to check off as you find the more current ones. If I didn't already have most of the current ones before finding that site - I would have done that.

it drives me crazy too - some of the dogs, cats, bunnies all run together in my head.....never sure what DD has or doesn't have....

which ones are the hardest to find? I got panda bears and a seahorse yesterday. Which ones should I be looking for as I go into different stores?
