Who knew these things were so hard to find??!! I hear kiddos in my ds class talk about them so I looked into them. Just another crazed obsession I suppose! Its kinda funny. I might have to get into the ebay game on these!

i used to have tons of those when i was little. i loved them! my favorite were the hamsters. i didn't realize they still had them around!

My daughters love these things. Here in CT they find new ones at Target everytime we go. I've quit taking them because of it. We've now got the biggest Littlest Pet Shop in the world.

Costco had a great gift pack with 6 small sets for like 11.50 or so....They are really cute!!!

I love the old one more then the newer ones. i love the dalmation because of 101 dalmations, but all of them where cute

I was at WalMart this past Saturday looking for a birthday gift and they had quite a selection of these things.

Yes, check Hasbro. I just ordered a bunch for the kids....of course, just BEFORE the 25% off coupon came out!! (sigh)

I have also seen them at various B&M places (TRU has a sale buy 2 get 1 free.) I looked at ebay, but found that their prices were higher than hasbro's site. There was one set with something like 50 animals in it (seemed like) that I couldn't or haven't found anywhere else, but it was $$$$ and I wasn't going there!!

My almost 9 yr old son and 11 1/2 yr old dd have recently started playing with these (dd picked up the first set at Disney)....but these kids have ALWAYS been into little figurine/imaginitive play. Right now my sun room has got an attractive display of Puppy in my Pocket dogs!! They've been playing with those for 3 days solid--every chance they get.

So some of it probably depends on your kid.

BJs has a 24 pack for $23.00 (I think). I took the one back to Costco that I bought and got this one instead. Walmart also has a carry case that holds 20 of them for $14.99?? and it comes with two animals. I got one for my DD last night so she has something to hold them in.

I got a carrying case for DD at Target yesterday. It is different than the one my Wal-Mart has.

I am hoping one of my IL's gets DD the Whirl Around Playground.

My 3rd grade dd (age 8) and all of her friends are really into these. I found the monkeys a few weeks ago and it made my day! A friend of mine called me from Target today to tell me she found the mouse/cat set so she picked up an extra for us. We have the Pet Shop and my dd will get the Whirlaround Playground for Christmas. If that's all she got for Christmas, she would be thrilled
