DS2 was awake at 5am on Saturday, and then ds1 was up at 6am, so after showers etc we were down at the Parkside Diner for breakfast at 7am. We had breakfast and took a slow wander down to the park for EMH. We had promised ds1 that Dumbo would be the1st ride of the day, so we went straight there. We walked straight on, ds2 wasn't keen, didn't really like it going up, so we just went round at the bottom! Then we went on the Teacups which the boys loved, once it had finished there was no-one else waiting so they let us have another go. Then onto Peter Pan, which we walked straight onto. After that we went onto Discoveryland so that ds1 could take dp on Buzz. They loved that, although were arguing over who got the highest score! Then the 2 of them went on Orbitron. By this time it was about 9:30, so we took a slow walk over to WDS.

It was already getting hot by this time so we sat down in the Courtyard by the Lilo & Stitch stage. I went to get some food and we ate that before the show began. ds1 didn't want to watch it, but then Minnie drove round the corner and he soon changed his mind! We walked round by Armageddon, but ds1 didn't want to go on it, so we left and went round the other side. We saw Chicken Little, and got his autograph. I understand what everyone means about the scrum trying to get to characters. After that we queued up to meet Sully, ds2 didn't like him though. We got a fast pass for Aladdin, and went on Cars. ds1 loved that as Cars is one of his favourite films. The queue for Cruch was long and by now it was time for Aladdin, we all went on that, ds2 didn't mind going up and down on that one, I think maybe because we were all in the same car. By now was time for lunch and a little chill out in the hotel, so walked back and got lunch at McDonalds. It was really busy in there, and the staff were in no hurry to get everyone served. I have to say thats something I noticed throughout the whole stay was that the staff & the CMs in the shops were in no hurry about anything, and the level of service was pretty shocking (IMO). Also, if someone came and asked them something, instead of saying they'd be with them in a minute, they'd stop serving me & concentrate on the other person first.

After lunch we walked back to the hotel, as we got close I could here the Dream Parade music really loudly. We walked in and Minnie was dancing in the lobby. I was like OMG!!!! and ran over to watch her. There were only about 5 other families there, so it was great, because there was no huge scramble to get her autograph & photo when she'd finished. She had a huge 15th birthday cake with her filled with sweets that she gave out to all the children. That was just so amazing!

After the boys had a bath, and we had a nice cold drink we headed back to the park, and to Frontierland. We went on the Molly Brown, which was really nice except for the old couple that pushed ds1 out of the way. Grrr! Then ds1 and I went on Phantom Manor. He was OK to begin with when the lift was going down, but when the 'thunder' went off & it went dark, he really started screaming. He wanted to get off, but was OK going round, I just made everything funny instead of scary for him. We then went on round to get a FP for Thunder Mountain, but it had broken down, and they didn't know how long for, so we didn't and promised ds1 that we'd come back the next morning.

Again, we had rumbly-tumblies, so went back to the Village. We planned on Annetttes, so looked at the menu, and waited outside at the host point. No-one came to seat us, then a family came along, pushed past us and walked straight in, we pointed out to them that they needed to wait, but mum, dad & dd ignored us, the ds was quite apologetic, but didn't say anything to his family though. They then sat themselves, then a member of staff came to move them to a different table, while this was happening another family pushed straight past us, and were seated straight away, so we just thought well if everyone else is going to do that, then hey, so will we. We went in, and were eventually seated. I took ds2 to change his nappy & was struggling not to be sick, as the smell in the changing room was so bad. I literally whipped his nappy off, new nappy on, and took him back out like that to dress him at the table. That really put me off, and TBH I'd already decided that I didn't want to eat there if that was how bad the toilets were. However, when I got back to the table dp pointed out that the menu was different to the one displayed outside and it was really only burgers on the menu, and as none of us like burgers it was decided not to stay. We decided then to eat at Rainforest Cafe. The boys loved it in here with all the animals & the rain, although ds2 didn't like the thunder. The food was really nice, and the cocktail lovely, I think I had the Slippery Snake (the blue one).

After that we headed up to Alice in Wonderland as ds1 really wanted to do this, then went to Adventure Land. We went on POTC which ds1 loved, then he played in the play area near Captain Hooks ship. Then we went down to the Winnie the Pooh stage and grabbed some good seats for Fantillusion. DP & ds2 stayed there as dps leg was hurting a lot. ds1 and I went down to Autopia. The queue for this was 50 mins, so it was actually over an hour. We got off the ride at 10:05. I wanted to take photos of everything there lit up, but didn't want to get caught up & not get back to the others in time, so we ran back to where they were. We had great seats for it, although my bloody batteries in my camera ran out as the 1st float went past, so I just have photos of the front & back of Mickey's float, none of it wehn he was alongside:sad1: , The Snow White float stopped next to us, and the princess floats were lovely when they were stopped & rising etc. The boys loved the parade & ds2 really got into it, waving and loving seeing the characters. Then we were moved round to the front of the castle for Candleabration & Wishes. We watched Candlebration, & then dp was miserable and wanted to head off back to the hotel before the rush. I was really gutted that I missed the fireworks and planned to go back the next evening by myself. Anyway, off to bed, and alarm set ready for the character breakfast on Sunday morning.

I'm going to try a link to my photos! Here goes...http://www.photobox.co.uk/album/6221028

Just remembered, while we in near Agrabah, we saw Jafar wandering around. He was really good, stamping about, pushing people out of the way. DP went to him to ask for his autograph, he stopped, took the pen from him, looked at it then threw it back at him! That was brilliant, really playing the bad guy well!

Jafar scared the living daylights out of me when we first saw him in 2003! I kept walking backwards to get away and he just kept walking towards me!!

He made DD go down on one knee before he would sign her autograph book. She loved the reality ;) of it all :goodvibes

Another great day. My kids love Rainforest cafe as well :goodvibes

Going through photos, made me remember a really bad thing that happened today. Watching Fantillusion, taking photos of Mickeys float, and what happens? The blimming batteries run out on the camera. Can't believe I can't get a rechargeable one for it. So we have photo of Mickey in the distance coming towarsds us, and one of the back of his float. Gutted.
