Are there any little used/known paths at DL/DCA? For those who have been to WDW, I love the path that runs from Tomorrowland to Toon Town along the railroad tracks that is never busy and provides a break from the hustle and bustle of the parks.

Thanks!

I'm sure one of the DL regulars will be able to answer more accurately, but I think as it is so much more compact than WDW there aren't really what I would call any 'secret" paths - but there are a few "less-used" shortcuts that we enjoyed discovering.

You can cut through from Fantasyland to Tomorrowland via the archway just to the left of the gateway of the castle - it takes you past the wishing well and Snow White's grotto, which is always a peaceful little spot.

On the other side of Fantasyland there's the Big Thunder Ranch Trail (I think that's the name?) that starts by the Village Haus restaurant - its a pretty major thoroughfare but it often is quieter than the main route from Fantasland to Frontierland, and it takes you around the back of BTMR which is fun.

And there's always the shortcut by the toilets opposite the Tiki Room, which cuts through to Frontierland.

I wouldn't class any of them as "secret' but they're fun to discover none the less.

You can also cut thru from the castle (hub area really) thru Rancho Del Zocalo to Frontierland.

Thanks, I'll have to give that one a try. :goodvibes

Last time we were at DL they routed us behind the shops on the west side of Main Street from Coke Corner to the Fire Station. Got to see the "backside of Jungle Cruise", a cast member break area, lockers, all that.

I like to cut through the shops on the east side of Main Street all the way from the Plaza Inn to the Disneyana shop. It's handy if the street is congested.

We like to use the Carnation Gardens path into fantasyland and you can also sneak around the right of the stage to the Rancho del Zocalo potties. The Matterhorn to tomorrowland cut-through is less traffic. Those are the only ones we can think of that weren't mentioned already.
