Little things you can't live without

Good coffee. I have a subscription that sends me bags if small batch coffee from small local roasters all around the country. I could live with Starbucks but much prefer the variety and uniqueness of the local roasters.

I will second the recliner and add to it. An electric foot piece. Got it a few years ago and **LOVE** the way I can lift the foot part up a little of a lot. Only down side is when you need to get up in a hurry it takes a few more seconds than the old style ones. And of course getting up after a power outage can be interesting.

I got stuck in mine for an hour during a power outage. I found a battery backup with enough power to put the chair down so I don’t have to go through that again.

What can I not live without? My iPad and the internet. Hot showers. A/C. A comfortable bed. Throw in the washer/dryer and I am content.

The fan in my bedroom that blows directly on me all night long! It provides white noise, keeps me cool and I feel like I have fresh air blowing in my face all night long. Vacations are torture trying to sleep without one.

I always take a fan with me. I don't like only getting an hour sleep.
