I'm just wondering what little special things you plan/do before the trip or while on the trip to make it even more magical for the kids? I do have the glow bracets/necklaces, and a few tink gifts. We will start removing stickers from our countdown calendar tomorrow, and I have our shirts made, but I know I have read a million cute things to do. With 32 days until the trip everything is just jumbled up in my brain! Thanks in advance for any suggestions

Decide a way to decorate your window and door at the resort ,then do the crafts to decorate. Some people have talked about the Home Depot mickey head paint chips. etc. We drive so I buy disney colouring books for the trip and watch the latest movies out on dvd.
We also decorate our van with window clings then use them on our resort window.:santa:

I bought glow bracelet/necklaces too. I also picked up color books and some small note pads that I'll keep in the diaper bag/backpack for when we have to wait. And some disney snacks- Pirate gummies for the older one:

I made a set of these cards for DS too, so he can sorta be the "cruise director" and won't ask where do we go next- I got the pictures from the DISign boards. And I laminated them with contact paper.

Here is another picture of the stuff I bought for surprises:

We also made tie dye mickey head shirts and some matching iron on shirts:

Didn't take pics of the iron on ones yet.

Oh and I used some of the blank templates also on the DISign boards to write a few notes to the kids inviting them to some of the meals. Still working the kinks out of those. And I have to do it while DS is not around or the surprise will be not so magical- he's to smart for his own good. He'll say mom that was on our computer when he sees them.

We got the idea from here of course- You trace the mickey head shape on the shirt with a washable marker then hand sew with a long basting stitch then pull the thread- we used fishing line- so the mickey head all puckers together then wrap a big rubber band around the mickey head base. There are really good instructions for the whole process I'll look for them and add it to my post- We used RIT dye in buckets Here is the link to the spiral directions- http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1210609 I would also suggest using a baggie to cover the mickey head so it doesn't get other colors on it.

I always buy my kids the current Birnbaums Guide to WDW for kids by kids. There are lots of neat activities in it relating to the trip and some countdown stuff as well. It's pretty inexpensive on amazon.com

Here are some more reminders for you:

* put stacks of 2 quarters and 1 penny in a mini m&m tube for the penny press machines

* make autograph books- check out the Creative DISign boards for inspiration
-- consider having photo mats autographed for character meals
-- consider having plain pillowcases autographed

* check out this awesome lady's website from the Creative DISign boards--there are invitations for character meals and parties, designs for iron-on transfers for t-shirts and make sure you check out the passport pages for world showcase (you can print, organize and have bound at Kinkos. Same w/autograph pages):

* sprinkle glitter around your Tink gifts

* make sure you have enough film/memory cards -- your trip will be magical!
