I figure I could do a little dabbling in "trip reporting" even though this is hardly a report!
On my trip in June 2006, I was in the Magic Kingdom a lot and Tomorrowland sure is wearing down!
The TTA broke right in the middle of Space Mountain. We were sitting in the pitch black listening to that ride for 10 minutes. Honestly, it was REALLY creepy. I hated that. They got the ride going, and of course I was on it hours later! The TTA is most certainly the best Tomorrowland ride - nice, simple and fun. I really really hope they don't take it out for something cartoony (is that rumor still around)?
I went on the Carousel of Progress. Lo and behold, in the 2nd or 3rd scene, our theater got stuck. We couldn't rotate. People wanted to leave, but it was a pretty mild stir, and the CM on the loudspeaker just said stay put and watch it one more time, sorry. The thing broke again. People REALLY started to get angry. Once again, same message. Stay put and wait. The thing stayed put 2 more times total. People were starting to file out but then the CMs basically pushed them back in. We ended up "watching" the same scene 4 times. Boy, I sure didn't feel "A Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow" with the spirit of some of those people!
