My boyfriend and I stayed at Disney earlier in the week at Contemporary (TPV), WL (studio CC) and Poly studio, one night at each.
Every day when we checked in the room was basically ready within minutes of arriving. Our WL room was not but I asked her to negate the requests I had made and we were put on the 7th floor so the only downfall was that it was an enclosed balcony but we were only there a night and preferred the room to be ready.
The pools were busy off and on in the afternoon and very busy in the evenings bc that parks close early. We always found chairs if not table and chairs.
some experienced elevator waits at CR tower but we never had a wait. We were also at Cali Grill at park close and took it right back to the 11th floor when we were done so maybe that’s why. We were also there during the week vs weekend.
We tried to eat at Geyser Point at 9pm but there was a 30 min wait. A lot of folks sitting and hanging out since the parks are closed early and don’t want to sit in their rooms which I understand. We just took it to go and ate in our room.
They are not offering any late check outs due to enhanced cleaning. The housekeeper at Poly told us we could stay until 12:30 as she didn’t have many to clean but we were all ready to load up the car and thanked her anyways.
We went to MK twice for a few hours and felt safe. We also felt safe at the pool and was happy to see everyone social distancing for the most part. The kids in line for the slides bunch up but we kept our distance. Refill mugs are done by a CM. At times they could have used more CM at high traffic times but aside from that it was fine. We only used the bus once from MK to WL and was back to our room in 20 min from waking to the stop to in our room.
overall a great 3’night stay. We are heading to Pop tomorrow For 2 nights with the hurricane approaching so we will see what it’s like!
