Currently, I have booked for May breakfast at Norway at 8 am and then dinner at 1900 Park Fair at 5:05 pm.

I am getting a little concerned about that early morning breakfast.

First question - would you do both for a little girl who loves princesses but has just turned 2, or would you only do one?

Second question - should we think about getting the breakfast for later in the morning?

Thanks in advance for your help!

If your DD loves Princesses then Norway is great for her! We had breakfast there in Dec. and saw Belle, Sleeping Beauty, Mulan, Snow & Jasmine. At Park Fare Cinderella is the only princess. I guess it depends who your DD loves best. We really enjoyed the breakfast there! The princess interactions and the food were better than at CRT. As for what time you should go it depends on your DD's schedule. DO what works best for your family. Have fun!

Ok we did both 2 weeks ago, the reviews and a ton of pics are in my Jan link. The character interaction at both, just amazing. The food, service and long wait at 1900 PF was just awful, total waste of money and we all left hungry.

Well, we have done both meals and enjoyed both (and I'm all grown up). Cinderella is NOT at the breakfast, so if she wants to see her I would keep the dinner. The breakfast is good because you get to meet several princess at one time (we had Belle, Aurora, Mulan, and Jasmine.) The dinner has Cinderella, Prince Charming, Drizella and Anastasia, and Lady Tremaine. The stepsisters/mother are a lot of fun. And Prince Charming will dance with the little girls. I think your time for the breakfast is fine because it's at the beginning of the morning, so if people are taking time with their meals etc you wouldn't be affected, as you possibly could be with a later time.

WARNING since the Norway breakfast is in the World Showcase on the water, it gets very cold in the morning with the wind whipping off the water! All the little ones in princess dresses were very upset when we went because they were so darn cold waiting outside. So, I would have a sweatshirt or something for her.

People always talk about the "quality" of the food but I really don't think anyone can give anyone else an accurate answer on that. I wasn't as fond of all the selections at the Norway breakfast, but the actual quality of the bacon, eggs etc was just fine! It's all about personal opinion so I'm not going to base it on food quality, rather about the characters.

It will be fun for her to see Cinderella at 1900 PF. We LOVED the food at that buffet and our little girl was able to dance with Cinderella and the Prince. So adorable.

Also, Akershus (Norway) breakfast is great food and the princesses spend SO MUCH time with the girls, it is great. Our daughter was 2 the first time we went and she was just mesmerized. So much fun! It's also nice at that time, as World Showcase is not open yet and you don't have to fight the crowds to get to the restaurant. Especially as that pavilion is not so large, and you really have to listen for your name.

Have FUN!

Both!!! My 2 year 10 month old loved Akershus. We also did Crystal Palace and Tusker house. Character meals were a huge hit. She is begging for 1900 Park Fare for the next trip because the stepsisters and the prince are there. You might be right to be concerned about the early morning breakfast though. Is your little girl an early riser? Are you going to be dealing with any time zone issues? My DD is not a morning person generally. We quickly discovered that an hour time change made a huge difference. We adjusted, she did not. Early breakfast was NOT an option. Getting her up and to the park close to rope drop time was not exactly easy. I had scheduled Tusker House breakfast for before the park opened. Luckily it was in the middle of our trip because after the 2nd morning I knew I wouldn't be able to get her there and even more luckily when I called the day before the reservation to see if by some remote chance they had a later breakfast time they actually did. I'm sure someone else was probably thrilled later that day to call and get my 8:30 reservation. Also, think about where you are staying and how you are going to get there- that will make a big difference in how early she is going to have to get up and be ready to leave the room in time to make it to the breakfast reservation.

We have done both and prefer 1900 Park Fare much more. The food was better than at Norway and the characters from "Cinderella" are great, though Norway has more princesses. If you can do both, you should. I'm sure she'd love to see the princesses twice. Have a great trip, whatever you choose! princess:

Hello, I have done CRT when I was growing up many times...it is fun....
last year with my DD(then 3) we did Akershus princess lunch.....DD LOVED IT. When we go back in the spring we are doing both Akershus princess dinner, and we are going to try 1900 Park Faire dinner too. DD who is now 4 is very excited.......Have fun with whatever you choose:flower3:

I like 1900 Park Fare better food wise. But she will see more princesses in Norway. If it was me I would probably keep both.

I'm doing those two plus CRT for our upcoming trip. DD will just be turned 3 and is obsessed with princesses. I love them too. You can never have enough princesses.

Our Norway breakfast is for 9:50 am. My DS is not an early morning riser. Being out of the house at 8 am is torture enough. :lmao:
