Forgive me if this has already been posted. I have had a hard time finding this in stores in the past so I decided to find it online this year but have been waiting for a sale (it usually goes for 38.99 or so on amazon.) I know this is currently on Toys R Us' website for 19.99 plus shipping, but it is worth it to note that some reviewers on the TRU site say that their version does not light up or play music as the one I'm linking does. It's also smaller and has less accessories.

I hope this helps someone!

Little People Nativity

I LOVE FP Little People.

I think the Nativity is so cute. That is a great price because is usually never goes on sale.

I just got out our Little People nativity set, it's still adorable after years of use! Plus, I like having Xmas decorations that stand up to kids.

I did too! It was originally DS25's toy and DD7 was just playing with it last night. :cloud9:

That is so cute! My boys are 10 and 7, so a little old for the Little People line but I'm thinking of ordering it for me. Anyone buy it for themselves?

Hmmm...

I'm assuming this will be around for years right? I want this for DD, but she won't be playing with it for another couple years.

We've had the nativity (and a couple of the early FP Santa sets) for years now. We pack them away every January and my DD11 still looks forward to getting them out and setting up on the window. :thumbsup2 It's a little different from just playing with FP day in and out.

It's been around, various versions, since the late 90's. (Forget when we got ours- maybe 98?) They do tend to be hard to find though. My opinion- wouldn't hurt to buy and tuck away for your DD. She'll be big enough to be playing with it next year.

They do have separate set for shepherds, too. (There are various versions of the stable/what is included as well as ones that play music, or not.)

Little people nativity......I thought you meant the Roloffs.

Okay, I bought it! I'm going to save it for DD for a couple years from now. Now I just have to remember where I'm going to put it! :lmao:

I agree with the PP go ahead and buy it... I saw it last year for $15 and decided to wait I want it this year for DD 18 months and its 25-30 everywhere.

Thank OP I will be getting this :goodvibes.

Thanks OP. I got four sets. One for myself and the others for my toddler nieces and nephews. I hate buying them yet another toy to clutter up the house so this is a perfect combination of toy/keepsake.

Bought it when my son was 3 or 4 and now he is 9 - He sets it up every year.

Love it. We just bought it for the grandkids. They love playing with their mother's FP little people.

I would definitely recommend buying it! My DD6 plays with it every night when we go home! Her cousins (8 and 10) even play with it when they come over! We have a shepherd set and drummer boy set too.

You might be surprised, my dds were 11 and 8 last year and played with it. Mary and Joseph were protecting baby Jesus from aliens last year :goodvibes.

I went and ordered one from familychristian.com as it was a bigger set that will play music and lights up. It ended up costing me $26 with shipping and tax.
Joseph, Mary and Baby Jesus share the stable with their animal friends. Place the angel atop the stable to activate the lighting star and hear the holiday favorite "Away in a Manger" play. Also includes stable, donkey, camel, sheep, cow and much more.
