Little People, Big World ~ Season 6 ~

I was glad to see that they will be back but Amy was acting like the house would be empty. Aren't the boys going to the local community college and Molly and Jacob will still be at home so I hardly see it as an "empty" house. I really hope to see Amy and Matt work out some of their problems.

well, last week matt made a comment that he was going to take advantage of some deals on houses near the his parents and buy one up to set the boys up in as a 'bachelor pad':scared1::scared1::scared1:, so maybe, despite the farm being only 10 minutes away from the community college (that's what zach told his grandparents last week) the boys won't be living there (BIG MISTAKE imho-neither of those boys seem mature enough to live on their own, and by the looks of matt's parent's home in previous episodes they live in a residential area which i suspect would not be thrilled to have as neighbors 2 immature young men prone to having all their buddies over and engaging in noisy horseplay).

I used to watch this show religiously. I got caught up on Season 5 yesterday...I was sick and watched the marathon on TLC. I agree PPs statements that Amy focuses on the twins. I think Molly will be ok but they need to get Jake under control now. $2600 cell phone bill for a 12 year old is out of control. He may not "graduate" to high school if they dont step in and really enforce some rules on him. I will continue to watch the show. I just hope Amy and Matt can fix their relationship.

Never there for them, as always going on business trips or never there for them as not emotionally supportive? I haven't watched the show for a while, but I always thought the boys had a good relationship with Matt, so I am surprised they said whatever they said.

I don't remember exactly what Zach said but it was pretty much that he hasn't been there for them since they were 5 years old so it was no surprise that he wasn't there for them at the graduation...something like that, so I took it that he was referring to Matt always being absent, not necessarily that he wasn't there for them emotionally. But he was very direct about what he said and I definitely heard some resentment in his voice, or just acceptance that that's how his father has always been and probably always will be.

What I couldn't understand was why Matt was late for the graduation, it didn't sound like he was doing something else, business or otherwise, it sounded like he was at the house and just didn't want to get there early and have to wait, he even said during one of the interviews that he doesn't like to ever wait and he admitted that he was late getting inside because he cut it a little too close and there were a lot of cars and nowhere to park. Now I'll admit, I'm known for always being late, but to my childrens graduation??? Don't think so. :sad2:

I honestly believe that Matt wanted to make a scene. Matt is the type of person who seems very egocentric. He likes all eyes to be on him and likes being the center of attention. I'm not pulling this out of my butt. I have heard Amy share these sentiments on numerous occasions. It's probably the reason Amy wants a wall up between her stuff and his stuff because Matt always likes to steal the show.

I kept giving Matt the benefit of the doubt, but not any more. He seems so uninterested in his children's lives and is getting more egocentric each day. I suppose it is a mid life crisis because he wasn't at all like this before. You can see that if you look at old episodes of LPBW. He used to be very caring and involved. Now he is just standing on the side lines watching everything fly by. Anyway ... that's my 2 cents.

Maybe in the beginning, he was told how to act and do things with the kids. He really reminds me of some dads and moms, that need to be seen and heard. Like at ball games, when everyone is cheering and then he yells at inappropriate times, so "he" is heard. Or a comment is made, after a conversation is completed, but they still need to get their opinion heard, even though someone else may have stated the opinion previously.

I have to admit I got a little teary when Amy was talking about not being able to give her normal sized kids a "real" hug. It seems like Matt hasn't been there for the kids the last couple years (going away on vacations by himself, missing the kids' birthdays and Mother's Day). I wouldn't be surprised if they got divorced. Honestly I think Amy & the kids all deserve better. Hopefully Matt will see the error in his ways, but I doubt it. Jeremy was right when he was talking about Matt wondering one day why he isn't in any of the photos in the family's important events.

I totally agree. I was just disgusted by the fact that he was late for the graduation. His comment about not waiting more than 3 minutes in a doctor's office was ridiculous. It's as if he's more important than everyone else.

8:00PM
Twins Go Commando
After years of growing apart, twins Zach and Jeremy attempt to reconnect on their first trip to Europe. Backpacking in Scotland without the rest of the Roloff family proves to be tougher than they had imagined.

8:30PM
Amsterdammed
Only a few days into their European trip, twins Zach and Jeremy have lots of fun in London, but trouble awaits them in Amsterdam - where personalities clash, tensions rise, and a visit to the city's infamous red light district causes friction.

How in the world did those boys get so lucky to go overseas!!!! They go to the red light district!! OMG !!!

I can't wait for the new season!!

Oh dang this show is still on?! I'll definitely watch, I'm interested to see how the boys will fare in Europe!

I'm royally confused.

I could have sworn that after the graduation episode, they called it a "Series Finale".

oh man!! I missed it!! I was putting the 2 youngest to bed and fell asleep too! Hoping they replay it at 11pm now that I am WIDE awake!:rotfl:
