Little ones magic hours

Does anyone know the age group for the little ones magic hours in fantasyland? We are taking our 8 month old in September, and it would be great to be able to use it so that we can go on some of the stuff he can go on without the massive crowds.

As far as I know, anyone can go. We'll be there in August getting our rides on DUMBO before it has the inevitable long line.

As long as you're staying at an eligable Disney Resort hotel you're eligible to get into the parks early.

We did that with my baby sis and she was fine in fact it was rather convienient to do the rides without the crowds.

Where can I find information about this? We are taking our granddaughter, age 2 1/2, in Sept. This would be great!

Its on the website if you select "preschoolers." An eight month old will be fine...and it'll be a good photo op for all the characters. Resort guests without kids can get in too I've heard, but they may get dirty looks from cranky parents who got up too early (like me).

Yes, anyone staying onsite (and a few non-Disney resorts as well?) can attend, as WDW never posted any age limits last year, at least.

I think this works well, as there would be too many situations where older siblings would be banned (or would you let them in, but not other kids the same age?). Also, what would you do with a special needs child who may physically be over some preset age limit, but mentally and emotionally still a pre-schooler?

I don't think Disney wants to have to set an age limit and enforce it. As long as it doesn't get too overcrowded with non-preschoolers, I'm betting WDW won't set a limit.
