Someone recorded this today! I am not one for suprises so when I saw there was a soft opening I checked you tube to see if someone recorded it and they did!

I can not wait until August! My girls are going to love this ride. Although my 4 year old may be a little scared of Ursula.

My family and I got lucky and rode this twice(in a row) today. Just happened to be walking by, and they were offering a "sneak peek." Had lunch over at Pacific Wharf area, rode Toy Story Mania, Sun Wheel, etc., and As we were walking back up to Grizzly Recreation area, noticed they had shut it all down again & had about 4 or 5 cast members there answering questions. I'm actually still at the DLR now, checking out on Sat.

I saw the thread on mice chat and couldn't help but peek at the video. I have to say I love one section (the Under the Sea song part) but think my timid 5 year old may be terrified of the dark scene with Ursula and the glowing eel eyes. I may just have her watch it first and see if she wants to go on it.

I was tempted. I started to watch and then stopped I want to experience the ride in person for the first time. So excited hopefully I will be seeing it in a couple of weeks

Going to go to the AP preview tuesday but might drop in on monday and hope for a soft opening instead. Not sure what to do :/ I am happy for those that got to ride and early reviews sound really good! I am not sure if I want to watch the video and ruin the surprise or not...

I had to peak. How amazing!! I cannot wait til I get to board my own seashell in Sept. I just will be wishing my 6 year old DD would be with me... I'm hoping for next year.

I also watched the new version of Star Tours that someone had posted. Hard to get a clear picture because it's in 3-D but still totally cool. Thinking my mom & I will have to do a rider swap with my little one for this.

Thanks for the link. Can't wait to ride. However, what part of "No Flash Photography" do people not get! :headache: It really ruins the experience with all those flashes going off! I really wish there were some way that Disney could enforce it better.

I was hoping to try and not look, but no just had to have a peek! It's going to be incredible!

I watched the first 10 seconds, and that's really all I needed. I want it to be a surprise! I'm doing the same thing with WDW, not going to watch ANYTHING until after I've been there. :goodvibes

But ahh I just can't wait, wish I knew when I'd be back there again!

Thanks for the link! My daughter is going to love it and my son is going to HATE the eyes staring out of the dark in the Ursula scene. I love the way Ariel's eyes move and blink in the boat scene...but did anyone else notice how HUGE the prince's hand is at the end of the ride (in the wedding scene) when he is waving? Whoah!

I got to ride today during the soft opening. I really like it. I also was asked to answer a CM's survey questions afterwwards about my experience. Loved Under the Sea. I was a little wierded out by Ariel's eyes. They seemed too big for her face or body. But I can overlook that one thing.

:hyper: It is so hard for me not to watch that! I wanna wait till I get to see it in person.

I need to resist watching!!! I've got my AP Star Tours Preview tomorrow and I was going to hop over to DCA to see if any soft openings were going on for LM. If not, I'll be going on Wednesday for the AP LM Preview. I want it to be a surprise either way though :goodvibes

I HAD to watch since im in florida and we wont get this until about a whole another year. A little disappointed in the ride to be honest...I don't want to ruin it for anyone so I won't say anything, but I will say I was a little disappointed. I wish they could add a couple thing here at WDW but I know it's going to be exactly the same. To everyone previewing it in coming days, enjoy!

I'm tempted to watch it but I'm going to try my hardest to wait until our trip.
