I don't get to play here much anymore so this may have been addressed already -- my apologies if I'm bringing up something that's been posted (or beaten to death! :teeth: ) We finally just today opened up our Platinum Edition Little Mermaid to check out the goodies on it (no games, not really very exciting) but wow, we have watched the "ride-through" of the conceptualized ride based on The Little Mermaid dozens of times already. What a shame that one got away!! Is there anyone else out there just dying to see this become a reality? I don't know where it could possibly go -- doesn't seem to be room at MK for it, but I was thinking, maybe AK? If that hypothetical land with dragons and unicorns ever opens up, wouldn't mermaids be a good fit? And there are more animals in LM than people.

Anyway...just wondered if anyone had started a "let's bug Disney" campaign because I sure would like to lend my support to that.

I totally agree! When I watched the virtual ride portion, I was amazed! I think if that ride ever came to be, it would be one of the best ever created by Disney.
Lets hope they will build it someday. I mean, they put it on the dvd and I think alot of people want this ride. I'll be a part of your Mermaid ride coalition! :thumbsup2

Okay - I just watched it. VERY COOL. :thumbsup2

Peter Panish, inventive and why the heck they did not do it is beyond me. I think that would be great. I am sure they could get rid of :stitch2: and put it there. :)

It's amazing. I love dark rides, and that would have been a wonderful addition to any Disney park.

Um, :confused3 you aren't one of those that I always see trying to make out on the dark rides are ya? :rotfl:

This might be slightly off topic, but reading this reminded me of the Target ad I saw in today's Sunday paper saying that Little Mermaid DVD will be back down to $14.99 as of Nov 21. The sale might vary in different regions though so you may want to confirm that. So those of us that missed out on the initial sale, here's our chance! :thumbsup2:
