Little Mermaid Attraction in DCA

I was reading that Disneyland's 'Little Mermaid' attraction opening early 2009 - replacing Golden Dreams. Has this been open or has it been delayed?

It's actually opening June 2011. I don't think it was ever reported to be open in 2009. They closed Golden Dreams late 2008 and so far they haven't started construction on the Little Mermaid ride yet.

Construction is supposed to START in early 2009, but construction walls will more realistically begin to start showing up around mid-late 09.

First they have to move the bathrooms across the street to the east side of San Francisco Street then they will probably wait until they are done with the retheming of the south end of Boardwalk/Pier area. Expect late April or May for the start of demolition. It cannot happen until San Francisco area is rethemed and the bathrooms moved. Micechat and several other sites are right on top of everything.
