I'll be traveling down to UO in June with my family and am interested in looking for little known secrets. We have visited US/IOA probably 4 or 5 times in the last 15 years. The last time was during the soft opening for 'The Mummy' in '04. Any tips for things to look for while we are there would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Cann't give more praise to the Horror Makeup Show.If you never done it try it.It's 1of the funniest little known show @ US:thumbsup2

Sneetch beach at IOA! There are 2 paths through Suess Landing: the main one between the shops and a much less used one between the shops and the pond. Not only is Sneetch beach along this path, but several other snippits from Seuss stories are there also.

Another suggestion is there are several interesting things to see on the bottom level of the Jurassic Park Discovery Center. Be sure to walk out the back door there and get a view of Seuss Landing, Port of Entry and Marvel Super Hero Island from across the pond.

One other thing about IOA, when entering the park and walking down Port of Entry, take your time and check out the balconies on the upper levels!

That's what I'm looking for. Thank you so much for your replies. We will be spending 6 nights at the RPR and although there will be the summertime crowds, with the 7 day pass and FOTL access, we don't feel like we have to burn through the parks in just a couple of days. I truely believe this will be a leisurely vacation, along with being able to experience all things USO has to offer. Although we are not big water people, I'm looking forward to poolhopping, seeing the themeing at each resort, the dive in movies, and after reading these boards as each day draws closer I'm more and more excited. Boy do I need this vacation  ! Someone once posted that while riding the Spiderman ride, there is a phone number somewhere that you should call. Where can I find it? Looking forward to more replies. Thanks for everyones input.

It's the hippest, most-overlooked joint in UO.

Smoking's allowed, but it's usually cigar smoke which, as a non-smoker myself, I don't find all that unpleasant.

Mine isn't really a secret, just a tip
We never miss going to The Crescent Moon
it's a little lunch spot/bakery as soon as you walk into IOA
It is awesome!! They have the best cookies

I'll be taste testing again in about 7 weeks

I did some further searching and came up with a web sight called Universal Excitement. I cannot post the url for it as I have not contributed enough posts to this board, but it has quite a bit of little known secrets. Perhaps someone else could post the link

It's the phone number on the theater marquee in the ride.

Oh, and look for King Kong in the Mummy too. There's a little tribute to him in there.
