Hey guys and girls. We have booked for the Yacht Club Garden View Room with Virgin for September 2019 . We have linked our reservation on the My Disney Experience . But its showing us in the Beach Club Standard Room. We had tried talking to Virgin about it but they have not been very helpful and Disney have said they cant do anything yet.

Has anyone had any previous experience with this happening and was it sorted out .

This hoilday is for our wedding and honeymoon so really want it to be the best time ever so its stressing us out a little

Ugh I never get on with my Disney. We are booked with Disney and the app has linked memory maker to my DH who isn’t even on the booking but is linked as a friend so he will know what we are up to and shows my Dd as having booked - ironic as she is the only under 18 in our party and would not have been able to book.
Initially didn’t show our free ddp or tickets but they appeared about 8 weeks after booking.
If it doesn’t rectify soon I will call them.
Be sure to call the WDW U.K. number during USA working hours (late afternoon or evening uk time is best) as historically they have transferred us to whatever they call their IT department.
If you phone earlier they give you an alternative number to phone once the Americans are awake.
 
I would talk to Virgin first & check that they have the correct details for your booking, assuming that they do then give Disney a call.
You are far enough out from your trip to get this sorted.
 
Only Virgin can fix this.

They have a Disney Specialist team (who won't talk to you directly), who the rep will email and get them to take a look.
 

You have a ways until your trip. I book with Virgin quite often and have found if a holiday is more than 365 days out (which is your case), the info on the My Disney Experience will be updated correctly later on.

For instance, I have taken advantage of the free meal plans and it never shows the meal up on the app until around the 10 month mark of my holiday. I have a holiday with meals planned for May 2019, and it just updated this week to reflect that. I use to be concerned and had contacted Disney & Virgin several times in past years. However, I am now use to waiting when the actual information is presented correctly at a later date. It will all work out.
