That is what i was trying to say earlier. I am a father who may be out with my 6 yr old daughter, or my 4 yr old daughter, or both for that matter. Let's say I have to go to the bathroom, I can't leave my daughters just standing outside waiting for me, can I? I would surely hold it if possible, but I am not about to let my daughters stand outside and wait for me, and I don't think the other men would appreciate me not taking them in a stall with me. At what age would you deem that I allow my daughters to stand outside of a bathroom and wait for me? I believe the circumstances would warrant my actions.

Just in case you are not aware -
the Companion Restrooms at WDW are one room with a sink, a toilet, occasionally a urinal and/or a 'shelf' changing table.
So, anyone using the toilet will be visible to the other people in the room.
I'm not saying you should not use the Companion Restroom in your circumstances, but people posting on these types of threads in the past have sometimes expected that the Companion Restrooms would be set up more like Family Restrooms I have seen in other places; with a room with a lock on the door and then inside the room a separate stall or room so the person using the toilet can have some privacy.

I wouldn't use these as I assumed these were for those who were in wheelchairs needing assistance from their companions to use the restroom. I wouldn't want someone in a wheelchair to wait for my kids to pee.

I've never seen a 20 minute wait in a WDW restroom. And we went twice for Christmas.
If there are 6 restrooms that a person in need of a companion can use, I leave them be.

Thank you.
There are only 5-6 Companion Restrooms in each park. They are not
reserved for people with disabilities or special needs; but for those of us with no choice we appreciate it when people look at your other options, and if one of those will work, please use it and save these restrooms for people who don't have any other options.
For some of us, these few restrooms in each park are the only toilets in the whole park we can use. There are not enough of them for the people who absolutely need them. There are only 6 Companion Restrooms in MK; that means that there are only 6
 toilets in
all of MK that some people with disabilities or special needs can use. Not 6 restrooms with multiple toilets in each.
6 toilets period.
And some of them are relatively inaccessible - for example, one is inside of the waiting area for Cinderella's Royal Table.
One is by Splash Mountain and people use it frequently for drying off if they get wet on the ride. The ones in Toontown and by POC usually mean a long wait because they are being used as Family Restrooms (and angry people knocking on the door because they want to get in). Because of that, it's very difficult to take anyone to the restroom if you need the Companion Restrooms.
The only Companion Restroom in MK that is usually not that busy is in First Aid. That has its own problems; it's small, the floor is sloped; it's not always convenient to go all the way to First Aid and I hate to use it in case someone who is in First Aid because they are ill needs to use it.
There are hardly enough Companion Restrooms for the people who can't use anything else and definately not enough for everyone who wants to use them as Family Restrooms.
