Little Connor...Update post 33

Little connor was rushed to the hospital tonight, he stopped breathing. He is currently on air tubes to stay alive . Andy (my bf) rushed over in a mad dash to watch his niece and nephew while his sister took connor to the ER. Lets all pray he is ok. Connor is about only a little over a month old .

As I already told you, he is in my prayers tonight.

I hope he gets better!

they say the only thing working is his heart! He may not make it through the night !!!

I am so sorry to hear this. I will be praying for him. So, he just suddenly stopped breathing? Do they know what happened?

Around 7pm PT, my boyfriend rushed over to his sisters house while she drove as fast as she could to the ER. My mother looked over the situation and thinks it is SIDS (sudden infant death syndrome). There is no cure for this, and in reading about it, doctors think it's a deformaty with the brain that causes the infant to stop breathing at times. There is no word that he..has not surived yet and I really hope he pulls through this, he has some of my boyfriends blood in him (with it being his nephew and all), and my boyfriend can tough out anything. We just keep saying he will be ok and trying to fill our heads with happy thoughts. The word is still the breathing machines are keeping him alive and I pray he makes it and gets better. I'm currently trying to look for a very cheap flight to go see him but have only found 1 for $417 which I'm not sure if I even have that money. $3600 I believe on the Disneyland trip, $2100 on the car, $1000 on the new dish washer, $200 deposit on the WDW trip until June were we pay $6300. Compaired to all this $417 seems so small but I pray I have the money to just see him for those few days I never got to meet my soon to...well still hopefully nephew.

Wow. Thanks for explaining and thanks for the update. I'm sorry you're having to deal w/ this. I can kinda relate b/c there are a lot of seriously ill people in my family. The fact that his heart is working is probably a good sign (just speaking from observations/logic here, not a medical degree). The only advice I can think of is to just take it a day at a time. I am praying for the best.

Update:
Thank you everyone for your prayers. He is stable, his blood pressure is getting normal and he has REALLY bad phemonia which is slowly getting better.

Connor is much better now. He is now home and healthy.

Little Conner isn't doing so well anymore guys..He's starting to have breathing problems again.
Connor's mother(Andy's sister), had a seizure last night as well and is very ill.

Do these things run in the family? It could be his immune system is shutting down or his brain is shutting down. I'm so sorry, he's in my prayers.
