Little Caesars Pretzel Crust Pizza

I really want to try this. I love pizza, in general, so this just seems like it should take it up a notch (okay I know it is Little Caesars and to keep my expectations low). But here is my dilemma. Do I go with the cheese sauce or pizza sauce. Anyone tried either? Both?

That is what I am leaning towards too. I didn't even know it came with cheese sauce as an option. But then I go to thinking pretzels with cheese sauce is a classic.

I have had the cheese sauce. It's okay, but it makes the pizza saltier than it needs to be. My teen hates it.

We can't stand Little Caesar's pizza , way too greasy around here. So I would pass on trying this one too

So we have had both and my children much prefer the cheese sauce. Actually I secretly like a slice of it but it is very salty either way. My daughter loves this pizza.

Go with the pizza sauce.I agree that pretzels and cheese sauce are delicious,but this is that gloppy stuff,not a nice ale flavored sauce.

I didn't know pizza sauce was an option. I thought it automatically came with the cheese sauce, which seems icky to me. The approval of elementary age kids plus the price have us ordering little caesar's more than I would like to admit.

Pretzels and cheese are so yum, not sure what to think about cheese sauce on pizza, I'd want it to be a giant soft pretzel with cheese and would probably end up disappointed and just want pizza. Still, if it strikes you go for it, or get one of each as a backup and freeze one.

It’s cheap enough to order one of each but that is a lot of pizza for one person. I thought about calling and seeing if I could order one half and half.

Ohh, that's a good idea too.
I'm doing calzone with sauce on the side, it's really just an inside out pizza with ricotta.

That's the first thing that came to mind. I am sure the tomato sauce is high in sodium but I haven't had nacho cheese sauce that wasn't REALLY salty. Toss in the salt on the crust itself and it's time to see how high you can push your BP. lol

No sauce, just mozzarella and pepperoni. Then it will taste like a giant pepperoni twist Wetzels Pretzel (I love those things).

We don't have Little Caesar's around here, but if we did, this is how I'd order it.

You can get it with a cheese sauce or pizza sauce. Then it is topped with cheese and pepperoni.

I am going to see if they can/will do it half & half. If they can’t/won’t then I’ll go for pizza sauce.

Gonna warn you not to get your hopes up. I actually sorta like Ceasars pizza as a value fill-up. I was excited when the pretzel crust came out but unless they've changed it a lot since last year, it's more of a pretzel colored crust that still tastes mostly like it always has.

Pizza has way too much sodium as it is. I eat more than my fair share of pizza. But making a crust that is loaded with salt will be way way way too much sodium.

I have low expectations being that it is Little Ceasers which I actually don't find to be that terrible for cheap pizza. $10 for a pizza, crazy bread and a 2 litter. Can't beat that. I can't even get just the pizza for less than $20 at my usually spot.
