Hi All! For months I've been searching for good quality little boys suits that aren't an outrageous price!!!

Well, Sears is having a sale (I would think it would be nationwide).

Anyway, I got both my kids suits, dress shirts and ties for $30!!!!

For some reason, the boys gave me the same response my DH does when I come home with "something they have to see" and it is clothes-related. They are their daddy!!!

DW and I have been going back and forth on this issue for our DS (4)...

Good info, because he can always use it for X-Mas too. Not sure how he'd make out in it or how long it would last during dinner...

:earsboy:

I know what you mean. I was shocked at some of the stores that wanted $60 for something that a) might fit him for 6 months, b) might be worn 2 or 3 times, c) might actually stay on him for 1 hour and d) might stay clean for about 5 minutes.

My older son is better about dressing up and keeping himself neat (at least for dinner!) I'm just hoping that they can both wear them with my DH for some pictures because they will look adorable!!

I'm not buying a suit. I'm dressing my DS 7 in a pair of dress pants and a button down shirt. I refuse to send money on a suit for him to wear twice on the cruise. I don't think Disney is going to tell me we can't have dinner because my son doesn't have a suit on.

Thanks for posting this! Ds#1 wants to dress up to look like James Bond for formal night  , and he has a couple of other dressy events coming up, so I will go by Sears to see what I can find. Ds#2, who is a hard core shorts wearer, has decided he wants to dress up like a waiter that night :) Good to hear about some good prices...

Thanks for the info on Sears, I'll be sure to check it out also... My son wants to wear a suit also on the cruise, I wouldn't have paid 60.00 for a suit for him for a time or two, but I'll dish out $30.00 for the whole works. We have a few things to do for Christmas also and he can use it while it fits him, Heck once the kids grow up...they have jeans hanging off they're butts!! LOL:eek:

Oh well!! Wonderful world of Kids!! Wheeeeeee!!:yo-yo:

Thanks once again!

Stupid question... but why would you even open a thread about boys' suits being on sale, if you don't care about the topic? Much less reply to it... *boggle*

Anyways, thank you thank you BuzzBoyMom for posting about this! My usual eBay approach to finding DS a cruise suit hasn't panned out so far this time... I'm heading to Sears! Thanks again!!

Glad others can use the info.

I don't feel "forced" to dress my children up. I think it will be a great experience. They dress up for church so why not throw on a jacket and make it a suit.

Also, I can't wait for the pictures of my three gorgeous men!!!

Gina,

I didn't know there was a rule that you shouldn't open a thread or make a comment if you weren't interested. Sorry silly me. I was just giving my two cents on how I was going to dress my DS on the 7-night. I guess I will have to go back and read my Dis information instructions before I respond next time!!!!!

As I'm heading out the door to Sears...

anybody have a lead on kid-sized Mickey ties???

I found some great bargains at the outlet stores on little boys suits and shirts.

I even found a little boys Mickey Mouse tie at the Disney Catalog Outlet last year (just after Christmas time.)

Thanks for the tip on the sale!

I'm sorry if you're angry, but there is just no need to voice an editorial opinion in a post that did not ask for opinions on anything... it was not titled "How do you feel about dressing your boys up for dinner?" or anything like that -- she was simply alerting those of us who DO like to dress our boys up to a sale on suits. And we appreciate it.

Now... I need to find one of those Mickey ties you guys are talking about!!

Hello everyone! Verandah Man posted a link awhile back for boy's Mickey ties. I will try and find it, but if I can't, will email Andy to see if he will post it here.
Thanks so much BuzzBoyMom for the info!!!!

Let's remember to keep this civil please.

The original poster has offered a tip to those looking for a good deal on little boys suits--let's keep it to that topic please.

Here is a picture of my son (age 2) in his sale suit and Disney shirt and tie that I got at the outlet! (the picture didn't work so I am linking to it.)
